His stats in AAA this season are very much an outlier in his milb career, too - at 26 Siegler is the definition of AAAA roster fodder.

He shouldnt be starting games in late July for a 1st place MLB team that has better options.

My take of not caring for it is based on:

1) We don't have the luxury of handing out development ABs while in first place at the end of July.

2) It's not taking ABs away from Capra or Dunn where you just let it ride with the young guy (like was done for Durbin).  Durbin has been excellent. 

3) Would want to see more of a sample size facing ML RHP from Durbin to sit him, given his MiLB numbers actually show sizable reverse splits.

Maybe Haase was just so bad with the pitchers that they had to get rid of him?   Murphy didn’t want to play him at all?    I don’t know

other than that it seems harsh.   The only other thing is maybe Contreras isn’t going to make it and this guy would be better off being the full time starter.  Who knows.    

And we found out earlier today (in an interview) that Jansen’s  family is from Chicago before moving to Appleton & he grew up a Cubs & Bears fan 😊

Maybe Durbin told Murphy he wasn’t feeling well or woke up a little sore

Brewers are 20 games over .500 even though 90% of the posters here gave up on them after the first month of the season. I think Murphy should get a little bit of praise for what he has done this year and not constantly complain about every decision he makes
