This team doesn't just pour it on, they dump it on until it overflows and causes a 1,000 year flood.

Too soon?

On Woodruff I’m hoping that it’s just that he had to throw a lot of high stress pitches in the first four innings and not that he tweaked something covering first.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

They said it was first time goin going on normal rest, so probably just trying to be cautious. In addition, to keep him feeling good as his next start will line up in the Cubs series which are important games and more important to go deep in those games.   This one, 6-0 lead vs worst offense in league and day off tomorrow would fall in the opposite category.  But such is baseball

I’d rather see Seigler pitch again than another Shelby Miller inning.

That seems a little dramatic. He looked good in his first outing a few days ago, and was pretty lights out for the Diamondbacks. Are you really going to judge a reliever on one rough outing?

Outside corner has been a strike all damn day, even inches off the zone, and now blue decides the actual corner isn’t a strike. I hate MLB umpires.

Assuming that Cubs series goes well I hope we can have a lot of 70 pitch outings in September.

That was not “rough”. He damn near blew a 6 run lead single-handedly.

I just assumed the 4th run scored (wasn't paying close attention)...how slow was that Pirates guy to not score on a ball off the CF wall with 2 outs???

Ground rule double.

The emphasis should be on the one. I don't care if he gives up 10 runs, if you think that should result in someone being never pitched again that's not the way it works.

He'll help us down the stretch.  Had a bad one today.

I was embellishing, I don’t literally mean he shouldn’t pitch the rest of the season. But I wouldn’t be trusting him in anything but low leverage spots for awhile.
