Brewers need a big bat this off season. There i said it. Scrappy is fun till it's not.

Still gonna go through stretches like this.  Ask the Cubs.

You will be fuming when Siegler hits a walk off bunt in the World Series!

Because I didn’t quote you? I think some references are obvious from context.

Cowardly because you mentioned a few posters when your comment immediately followed my post

Yelich is going to give them 30 HR and 100 dingers this year. That’s a big bat.

Not totally sure what Vaughn will give us next year, but if it’s anything close to this year that’s a big bat.

How would you explain the statistical differences in 2024 & 2025? We actually have more speed this year. The only significant change is the first base coach.

Easy the Brewers had a career year last year in total number of stolen bases with a 84.78% success rate.  This year they are at 73.91%.  You could argue the Brewers didn't try to steal enough last year.  You want to stay around the 75-80%.  So the Brewers should have tried to steal a few more bases last year.

Base running in 2024 they were at 19.7 and this year 13.6 so not really all that far off.

Stolen bases is also completely random as it depends on getting a good jump and running on the correct pitch and catching a team napping.  A lot of times the runner is safe because the catcher made a poor throw or was just off a little bit.  You are talking about milliseconds if a runner is safe or out.  The 1st base coach or 3rd base coach are not going to impact it all that much.

If the 1st base coach had an impact you would see it year over year but I don't believe this to be true at all.  Comparing one year to the next is just not all that significant and doesn't really tell us all that much.

Plus Contreras is no slouch.

We literally can. Losing is never ideal, but we can afford to drop another game to them.

Not on this day, anyway.

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.

It seems Chourio is a big bat.

You don’t know me whatsoever. Don’t go here again. Not cool at all, nothing but personal attacks from you.

I'm not willing to believe this is the Vaughn we will see from now on but yeah it would help.

I have been really impressed with Danny Jansen's ABs. Would like to get him more of them. Tough to find a way to do it, but maybe just more willingness to pinch hit a catcher since Siegler can technically do it?

I responded to your indirect criticism … like a weak kidney punch

Your opinion on my like or dislike of Adames isn’t exactly IGT material

I just want to say that I think everybody in the lineup uses a bat that is 2.61" in diameter.  Same as next year.

Lockridge over Perkins when Chourio comes back?

Perkins will shake his slump

As a switch hitter, he may add more value

His late inning defense is also incredibly valuable
