The Siegler thing is so weird because generally a manager falls in love with a new guy because he's hot. Think Vaughn but in this case Murphy has fallen in love with the guy based on everything but. He's done nothing on the field. So strange

Not at all. There’s several people here who said he isn’t a pitcher and doesn’t have the makeup to be a starter

Several people isn’t everyone. Numerous others have been discussing for a least a month+ that we’ll have to find some creative ways of limiting his innings.

In an interview, Murph says Siegler has a "knack for getting on base." I think that's probably what he likes.
