Wouldn’t mind seeing locking him in for a few more years beyond the original control. At this rate, Turang is starting to creep toward numbers that wouldn’t be bad for a third baseman, let alone a second baseman who could moonlight at shortstop.

I'd love to sit in on the front office meetings where they talk through the middle infield depth in the organization

Good to get one off of Curtiss, a card carrying member of the Andrew Chafin Club of Bullpen Deadline Flops.

Meh.

Like 5 innings and they gave up nothing.

I understand … I think Priester is capable

I believe Myers last year & Rea in 2023 surprised us once in a while with 7 or 8 innings

Sure would be nice

Going through the game logs looks like Priester (x3), Peralta (x2), Quintana (x2), and Woodruff (x1) have combined for eight outings greater than 6.0 IP so it’s not completely out of the question!!

Turang is showing his first round pedigree

I remember he had a less than dynamic senior year in HS that allowed him to fall to the Brewers

He is quickly rising to # 1 on my all time Brewers second baseman along with Gumby Gantner

I’m not a Weeks fan like most on the board … his defense was never that good

Weeks had two very good seasons and was not really anything special outside of those. But for those two seasons he was the best 2B in the league at the time.

It’s been nice to get the bats going again, but this pitching staff as a whole is really starting to show the wear and tear of a long season.

If the playoffs started today I'd feel more confident in the hitting than I would be in the pitching for a change
