Seeing some Octoberesque baseball on display in these last few weeks. Winning at least two on the road versus the AL East leaders is a solid marker being placed on the playoff table before taking on the NL East leaders.

How in the world this someone thumb this down?

I'd rather see any of the other 31 nfl teams win. This isn't gbfanatic.

Throw in a Bucks championship

I've seen one of those already. Two if you want to count the 1971 season when I was one year old. I need to see the Brewers win one before I die and I want to see the Packers never not win the Super Bowl.

Just wait until the Brewers have to play the tough part of their schedule...

Oh yeah, this is the tough part of their schedule 😀

Huge news. Cubs fans hardest hit.

Hell yes. Dealing with some unexpected personal struggles here. This win did my heart good. Love this team.

Side story time: in June I was back in Wisconsin. Took Dad to the Miz Skenes game. We talk a lot of baseball. He was eyeing how the Brewers might be able to get a WC. I told him then screw that, we’re gonna roar right past the cubs. I gotta call him tomorrow. I know he’s gotta be all in on this team by now.

Take care of yourselves..

Love uribe getting the closer mentality.    Having two closers is good especially if Megill goes balls up

I picked up Uribe about a month ago because I suspected he would be the closer by September.

Was hoping they'd ease him in and put him down where Collins is.  Though Woodruff and initial Perkins taught me to pay little mind to rehab assignment performance.

Another example observed of why to not pay attention to results during rehab assignments.

What relievers are available to pitch tomorrow.

Woodruff - like Peralta yesterday & Priester today - is likely good for six innings at best

No, he's pitching a complete game shutout while our AAA lineup I mentioned before puts up double digits.

Rob Z, Miller.  Koenig and Mears could go again.  Myers perhaps ok for a shorter outing.  Not all available, but we've been in many worse states lately.

I,left for a while when we hadn’t scored yet……I’m sure everyone stayed calm and confident that we would score late and our pen would shut them down right?

This team man!

Priester great with the extra rest……Chourio rakes in first game back..’.’Yeli with huge double and the add on dinger in the 9th.

Koenig with a dominant 7th…….

Huge win!

Seems like the brewers did ok by sticking with  Mona s as our utility infielder at the deadline.

I was one lobbying for IKF, but in my world he would've replaced Seigler, with Monasterio still here. I can see why the team may have balked at that & rather had a LH bat to share 3B with Durbin. But to me the experience/INF versatility from IKF would've trumped that.

Bottom line, Monasterio has been an absolute revelation.
