Umpires aren't afraid to do whatever they want because they get impunity for everything. It's no coincidence that baseball has the worst officiating in professional sports.

It’s a turning point.   I’ve seen this too much.  We blew a big lead and the team chasing us came back from a big lead

Plus we just have a bunch of injuries.   It’s going to be a long month.   If we had like 13-14 games left.  We have a decent lead but it’s not insurmountable and we are playing like an average to bad team.   Just blowing big leads.
