That was truly just idiotic. The whole vibe there was "just get to halftime with the lead." We have 1 timeout, like 25 seconds and can't kick a FG, so what exactly were we trying to do?

Agreed in general, but if Love gives Doubs a better ball on that 2nd down throw he might have scored.

 

Dallas' defense is an atrocity, and you have to give the offense room to make those plays - this hasn't been hurting with Uber conservative playcalling - its not executing and making more drive killing mistakes on the line and at quarterback.

The kraft first down felt like the perfect time to rethink trying to score.  Love has no time to do anything let alone with only 20 seconds.

I said it last season and got mocked by most except adam. He's likely on the hot seat this year without results. Policy already made comments about refraining from extensions for either Gute or MLF. A firing next year without a deep playoff run feels almost certain.

You know how it was inexcusable that the WR room was allowed to become so bare at the end of the Rodgers era? It’s that inexcusable that they’ve whiffed this badly on the o-line. Yes, no Tom and no Banks is a problem. But they had a whole week to get ready for this, and it isn’t like Dallas is a hellacious defensive front. You can’t pour this much money into things like QB and EDGE and then allow your o-line to be this bad. They’re on the verge of torpedoing a second straight game against a supposedly inferior opponent.

I have no idea what we were doing. 

The worst part is I don’t honestly know if Matt Lafleur knew what we were doing. I think he just had “aggressive” in his mind and was winging it play to play.
