No way Miz should be on the playoff roster. Let him come back next year, hopefully with his head on square and a lot more mature. I just don't know what Collins is doing lately. I don't think Murphy lets him start again this season. Joey O misses a dinger by inches.

Collins has basically been trash since the birth of his child.

Genuinely curious what rainbows (fresh rain?) and unicorns (horses? which isn't a good smell) smell like.

Can we push the kid back in and have it reborn in like November?

I tell you what.    Unicorns smell like shohei ohtani

Looks like we might backdoor our way into the NL 1 Seed by Philly losing … much like we won the division & first round bye

Hard to celebrate a big achievement after another poor performance & loss

Hmmm. our long winning streak ended the day after the birth and we've been below .500 since.

Miz can't even pitch an inning.  It's been unbearable to watch for two months now, save a single good outing.

Going to be a "put us out of our misery" NLDS.  Hopefully it's the Padres that do it.

You know its gonna be the Cubs, right.

I still think people are being a bit dramatic. Everyone knows these last few weeks haven't had much riding on them. I still think this team is completely capable of a deep run. A week off is exactly what they need.

I could easily see the Cubs snuffing out the Brewers in 4 games in the NLDS. Or I could see the Brewers start to swing the bats better and get to the World Series.

No playoff outcome would surprise me much.

Not that hard

I hate saying it but beating us in the playoffs is better than winning the division.   I really don’t want that to happen

I’m not so sure that you really believe what you typed there

We needed one win entering this series to break our all-time season wins record & to secure the NL #1 Seed

How on earth is that like a preseason game?

Because we're going to get one seed anyway at this point, and the wins record is a pretty arbitrary emotional target. More importantly, with a week between now and the NLDS, what possible correlation could there be between these ABs and those?

It's fine to care about those things, but we've already accomplished everything we could've hoped for this year.

A pitcher named Kody Funderburk is closing out the Twins win over the Phils to secure the NL #1 Seed for the Brewers 👏🙌💪

Well I guess Gasser probably isn't going to make the playoff roster if they have a choice.  He could have used some help and he may not have cracked.

Man.... this team looks like it's in big trouble.  At least the bats got off the mat a little and they're showing some fight now, even if it's too late tonight.  They look awake finally.

Perkins tonight is showing the conundrum he presents:  his defense is so good you almost have to play him, but his bat adds very little to a lineup that needs everything it can get.  If Yelich could play LF every day it would open up the DH spot for Bauers/Vaughn, but he can't.  The lineup decisions with this group are deceptively tricky.
