When I pointed out that Stokes had to settle for a small one year deal and Hobbs got a big multi year deal despite them being nearly identically rated on PFF, I was told Stokes was garbage and Hobbs was super underrated.

That's precisely why that signing made no sense to me. They even had similar injury concerns. The only real difference I saw was Hobbs was more aggressive at the LOS and physical, but after the sneaky ok season Stokes had and the cost to sign him, I would have just done that.

Especially when you are the last WR on the team and made the team for one purpose only - blocking.

With Watson and Reed coming back you may want to have better tape than that

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Wooden has been a pleasant surprise this year

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Everyone must agree, MLF can’t pick a good DC.

Packers allowed the 6th fewest points per game last year, they were at the 10th fewest entering today.

From 2019 thru 2023 they ranked 9th, 13th, 13th, 17th, and 10th.

Maybe not “good”, but consistently better than average and if this year holds that’s four Top Ten defenses in seven seasons.

This team will never achieve anything more than marginal success under MLF.  Yeah, I said it.

At least three people have said something like that just in this game thread already...

Finally! Parson taking over on the field.

If Green Bay wins, two red zone sacks and Havrisik’s monster kick are the red circles in the notebook so far. Really momentous efforts.

I'll repeat... please get rid of KOs... if only to prevent our stupid flags!

So why didn’t they keep Joe Berry and Mike Pettine around.

this team hasn't figured out how to prepare for a road game

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006
