Really? That’s an asinine take. LaFleur coaches these players everyday from July though January. So under your reasoning some weeks he masterminds a game plan and in others weeks he forgets what he’s doing? LOL… Or is it more likely the coaching is consistent and the  players simply don’t execute week in and week out?

Which feeds directly into your second  point, talent wins games, the Packers are an overall roster of mediocre talent:  a few legit star players but 47+ mediocre players.

This team with "mediocre talent" would be at worst 13-2 and have the best record in football if they had any type of competent special teams play, or at the very least, coaches that would not activate a kicker battling injury three weeks in a row.

I think the frustration on my end is knowing that IF the Packers arent in the midst of too many significant injuries to critical positions throughout this season, IF their situational coaching was even just above average, and IF they find a way to make a couple very attainable plays at the end of games against cleveland, carolina, and chicago, this team would be the favorite to win the super bowl this season in what is a completely wide open field.  Even choosing just one of the three items I listed above to go their way, this team is the NFC 1 seed.  But we all know this team has continued to find ways for creating their own adversity, which is why they find themselves once again as the 7 seed.

I may be permanently screwed up in the head by watching this team, but I still think if Love rebounds from his concussion and they wind up the 7 seed, they're going to make the divisional round with as good a shot as the remaining NFC teams to reach the super bowl.  Because of that, I still have to hope they find a way to stumble into a hot month of football starting next weekend.  You cant just say "forget it", if you have any shot in today's NFL youve got to ride it the whole way out.

Then why were they a 99.1% chance to be the 2 seed? The seed you are for some reason pretending was some distant fantasy? Because LaFleur is such a great coach? Someone here is asinine but it's the guy in your mirror.

I'll give you this, the coaching is definitely "consistent." It's the consistent result one would expect from a HC giving jobs to his friends and letting them keep said jobs.

LOL…. This is getting too dumb to keep going.  However, you do you and keep rocking those Packers colored glasses if you want ( they just make you sound silly like in the paragraph above!).

Probably the first person in the world's history to accuse me of wearing Packers colored glasses. But you're a moron so it checks out.

Lost in all the chaos near the end of the game was Morgan getting absolutely trucked by Sweat on that sack that injured Willis.

I've seen this clip going around and yes he gets obliterated, but this happens, and he honestly played pretty damn well last night. This clip is in the abyss if the Packers win the game. Their OL was generally really good last night. Wasted effort.

I think thats just the difference between good vs elite teams. Good teams can be just as talented but elite teams are consistent and resilient.

The Packers are good. When he's on, Love is top 5. The defense can be stellar. The o-line and receiver group are good if unspectacular. But the team is inconsistent. Injuries aside, this group lacks the resilience needed to win a SB.

Love played the best football of his career this year and it will go mostly under the radar because they are hapless in other facets that cost them anything meaningful. Actually  reminds me of Rodgers 2009 season where he clearly elevated but they didn't really go anywhere so nobody cared.

One thing is clear the loss of Ben Johnson was massive for Detroit

Yep and the other thing that's clear is Ben Johnson will still make good on his love of beating MLF twice even though he got mocked for it 2 weeks ago.

I'm not suggesting the Packers totally give up on Morgan.  But after a promising pre-season, I don't think there is anyway that the team can pencil him in as a starter for any OL spot in 2026.  Even with this problem, I still don't think they will bring Rasheed Walker back.  Add LT to the list of PRIMARY needs, along with C, NT, CB (maybe times two with this one) and LB if Quay Walker also leaves (which seems more and more likely as days pass without an extension getting done).

The greatest need on the team is CB. Not even close imo. You can at least pretend some of that OL can be coached up. Nixon is last week's sewage. Hobbs sucks.

OL get drafted every year so I guess I hope one of them hits. Underrated need is probably also RB. Jacobs's age is deceiving, lots of wear. The receivers are a slew of average, Watson is a star if he can stop getting hurt, the rest of them basically suck. Doubs should be working at Qdoba. No clue what Golden is. Never got a real chance to play. Williams just looks very slow.

Don't really have major concerns elsewhere as long as guys can heal. And maybe invest 2 roster spots in purely ST players.

My chuckle of the day was a clickbait article title suggesting that the Bears were the team everyone was most scared of in the playoffs.

I don't know. I wouldn't go that far but who exactly is the NFC favorite? I would have said the Rams, but they'll likely be out of the goofy dome which is an entirely different animal. Do you think Darnold is to be feared?

I guess the Eagles have the pedigree. Do you fear Carolina?

I don't see a clear cut favorite. I don't see a reason the Bears can't win the NFC. Good on them if they pull it off. More than the Packers have done for 15 years.

Seattle just beat the Rams so I would vote Seahawks.

I truly think if the Vikings would have held on to Darnold they would be leading the division right now.

Lamar Jackson reportedly struggled to climb stairs after a back injury during the Ravens' Week 16 game against the Patriots on December 21, 2025, exiting the game and raising significant concern for the team as backup Tyler Huntley took over.

Has all the makings of he or his backup throwing for 485 yards against the Packers.

The Ravens beat the Bears when Huntley was playing. Made it look fairly easy, too.

I agree. Hate to say it, but it’s very possible the Bears could get to and even win the SB. Virtually everything has gone their way this season. That might continue.

I have no issue with someone suggesting the Bears can make it to the Super Bowl, but the day after you need 3 fumbles , an onside kick, and playing the 2nd string QB most of the game to notch an OT win? There's nothing scary about that. As others have said there isn't a dominant team or even anyone with a strong case for serious momentum.

With his concussion history? No. The onside kick is the most collision play in football. You saw him. He didn't want any part of recovering that ball, and the coaches should not put him in that position.

then he should retire.

Jacobs fumbled too. It was a series of odd things that happened. Bad luck is all it was.
