The Eagles might be able to trade all their offensive linemen away and still be better than the Cowboys.  LOL, I love it.  8.5 home favorite against a winless team and they go down.  I first looked at the stats with about 8 1/2 minutes left in the game, and at that time the Bucs were up 24-10, first downs were 23-13 Bucs and the total yards were ~390 Bucs-~230 Cowboys.  The game was not as close as the final score.

We might not have looked all that good beating the Bucs, but at least we beat them.

Dak getting an Uber driver tossed is peak Cowboys. I'd expect the guy to get tossed in that setting, but the QB going out of his way to make sure it happens seconds after the game says a lot about the coddling in Dallas. Soft team, Certain players would just go to the media and say yeah, deserved, it was embarrassing. Not anyone in Dallas.

I'm pretty much convinced that Coach Ditka put a hex on the Bears organization after pea-brain Mike McCaskey fired him, and that is why the Bears have been so mediocre over the last 30+ years.  True or not, I'll always appreciate him while I know most Packer fans can't stand him.

Sounds like Marvin Harrison Jr gets traded today.  The guy seems to have taken a step backwards every year, we'll see if a new team can get him back on track.  It's too bad because the ability is there, but what he's done so far makes it look like he will eventually be a NFL underachiever.

Rumor sites say he will wind up with the Texans.  Also read that Indianapolis took a long look and decided to pass.  At that time the Cardinals were asking for a second round pick, no idea if that is still the asking price or if it has gone down.  Everything is a rumor at this point, frankly I could see him landing with about 20 different teams, so it should be interesting to see where he eventually ends up.

Isn't Harrison's deal that he just doesn't try very hard, or is his talent just not translating to production?

Wasn't Ditka the guy who said indoor stadiums were for roller skates and not football and did all his walkthroughs and practice in Detroit on roller skates?

He has all the talent but has no motivation at all.  Not sure a change to a team that is winning or has expectations of winning will change that at all.

Definitely wouldn’t give up more than a 3rd round pick for him.  The Texans sound like the team that will get him as they are a bit desperate and will give up multiple picks.  I think other teams are looking to only give up 4th or 5th round picks.

He looked like a HoF type of player at Ohio State.  But in AZ he has looked like he doesn’t even belong on a NFL field let alone a teams fourth or fifth option at WR.  At times he has looked like he would rather be doing something else than playing football on Sunday.

Just stupid for the Jags not to take the 3 there. You couldn't get it in the first three times, you're not going to get it in on the fourth.

Harrison does go to the Texans for a 2027 2nd and 6th round pick.  The Texans also get a 7th round pick.  I think this is an absolute gift to the Cardinals from the Texans.  Maybe a change of scenery gets Harrison going but I doubt as his time with the Cardinals he played rather lazily.  Not someone I would want on my team.

Both teams get a possession in OT, but what if the first team had a 10:00 drive and kicked a FG as time expired?  Drives of 10:00 not common, but do occur in the NFL.

Tampa Bay had one against Dallas.

I wonder if the Eagles will go after Becton on the GB practice squad?  Unless he burnt a bridge on the way out, I'd think they might try to poach him after losing two IOL.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

If that were the case would the Packers have the sudden option to promote Becton first and block the acquisition, or is it an immediate transaction since the Packers already had the option to promote him?

Yes, we can block it by promoting him.

Becton is probably at the way back of their minds right now as they are up to 11 offensive linemen on the 53 man roster and Banks, Monk and Burton all did limited practices on Friday.  They would probably have to just give up on Jennings and release him, and then have another OLmen suffer an injury that would put him out for 4 weeks at a minimum before they would look to add Becton.

If they really thought Becton had a future here, it's pretty likely they would have put him on the 53 man roster and then just put him on the inactive list for the first couple of weeks like they did with Zeitler.  The fact that he went straight to the practice squad is a pretty good indication that he is an insurance policy, nothing more.

Monk and Jennings could easily be jettisoned.  Heck, we could probably pick them up on the PS if we really wanted to.

As they signed Becton to the PS, he was coming back from a big injury, so I'm sure getting into game shape was priority 1.  Unless he has looked terrible in practice, I'd be surprised if they didn't elevate him to keep him.

No way Monk will be jettisoned,  The guy may be terrible, but Gutekunst loves him.

The Chargers have starting LT-Rashawn Slater and projected starting C-Tyler Biadasz on IR.  Top backups at tackle (Trey Pipkins III) and guard (Trevor Penning) are also on IR.  Starting RT-Joe Alt and starting LG-Kayode Awosika are injured, did not play last week and did not practice on Wednesday.  They currently have 5 rookie offensive linemen on their roster.  They obviously think absolutely nothing of Becton considering he is still sitting on the Packers practice squad.  The Eagles going through the offensive linemen now too, another former team that doesn't appear to have any interest in bringing Becton back.
