I don't want to keep on saying the same thing over and over... But I saw Ashby and threw my hands up. Up 5 is not his spot.

Now he is unusable for Gm 2 and tomorrow as well after 2 innings.

We all are going to just accept that Ashby is going to pitch every other day. Not sure why but score seems irrelevant.

Are you sure? I wouldn't put it past Murphy.

Well, that was an odd double play...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Can I have a mulligan on my post a few games back where I foolishly suggested the Brewers send Mitchell to Nashville to get some at bats?

Ed, I know you are a GREAT Brewer and Baseball, fan!  Your posts show it.  But gotta ask, do you live  in Nashville?  Just yanking the chain, let's have a beer!

if Uribe can consistently locate that slider forget about it.

Guess Mitchell needed some ABs in AAA! 😃

I don't remember every post in the back & forth regarding Mitchell, but my take was that if he struggles there's nothing wrong with sending him down if his struggles lead to him not getting regular ABs in Milwaukee. Obviously you wouldn't do that now, or a week ago for that matter.  You wanted to leave him in Milwaukee regardless.

It was speculation based on IF he continued to have issues.

Lol, or just throw one right down the middle and have him not swing

Most of the civilized world expected the breaking ball there. Whoops!!!

Guessing w/two strikes can sometimes leave you feeling.......empty.

With two outs, I'm shocked Turang didn't score on a double.  He must not have gotten much of a jump or he was tired from the steal attempts...

I originally thought "that's a run" too. But Caglianone got a real favorable carom off the wall & got it in quickly. And as you said maybe the jump wasn't the best, although that would be tough to take w/two outs.
