I suspect they just offered him the chance to go to Milwaukee to get a look at him and let him be in the clubhouse since his rehab start was in Appleton anyway.

IIRC, wasn't there a lot of discussion about Jett not being set on a defensive home?

Is the reason they're waiting to confirm that he can be an adequate 3B at the ML level?
