After a missed 2025 season and 3 Maryvale rehab starts, 20-year old RHP Josh Knoth makes his High-A debut as Wisconsin seeks a 3-1 series lead at Great Lakes. CF Josiah Ragsdale (.937 May OPS in 65 PAs) has reached safely in 26 of his last 27 games.

After his strong MLB outing last week (5 IP, 1 R, 3 Ks), RHP Coleman Crow returns to AAA Nashville as they shoot for a 3-1 series lead at Durham. RF Akil Baddoo had 2 homers on Wednesday and SS Cooper Pratt has a 13-game on-base streak, while 1B Brock Wilken is in a 1-for-22 rut.

20-year old RHP Jarrette Bonet struck out 8 last time out, but needs to limit the runs (5.20 ERA in 36.1 IP). He leads Low-A Wilson as they look to grab a 3-1 home series advantage over Delmarva. SS Brady Ebel has a 7-game hitting streak.

Ebel added a double and single to the mix, Pedro Ibarguen doubled (& walked), and Jadyn Fielder walked thrice en route to seven runs for the Wilson offense.

Jarrette Bonet with 6.1 scoreless IP (1 H | 2 HBP | 1 BB | 6 K) while Peyton Niksch finished it out allowing two unearned runs (5 H | 5 K).

Sounds scored six with Pratt walking twice, Lara walking twice (& stealing a bag), Wilken doubling and walking thrice, Quero notching a pair of singles, Matos and Jones each singled twice and walked.

Rob Z pitched a scoreless sixth (1 H | 1 K) and Junior Fernandez picked up the save with a scoreless ninth in the 6 to 5 Nashville win.

Niksch is quietly showcasing what we heard from @Fungo last season: he was a very real out getter in Indiana HS ball .He has certainly not disappointed so far in Wilson. Very nice bounce back outing for Bonet. Go Warbirds!

Pena reached on error in his third trip to the plate, eventually coming around to score on a CJ Hughes RBI single as the Complex Crew now leads 5 to 3 in the fifth.

Serious question because I don’t know the answer — why is it necessary for a player in High A Ball to have a “rehab” assignment at a lower level?

Player has likely been in Maryvale working with training staff there who are most familiar where the player is in the rehab process, and are best suited to monitor the player's return to action and to see how the body responds.
