Dodgers (Sasaki) vs Brewers (Gasser): 5/23/26, 6:15pm

I like how every time we pinch hit it's a crappy hitter for another crappy hitter but they bat from the other side of their replacement.

At this point there's no justification for not DFAing Perkins. You could pull a guy off of Milwaukee's city rec league and hit better.

I'd rather have Frelick face a lefty than Perkins face anyone still throwing over hand.

The Brewer loyalty to Perkins is maddening.

He’s sucked for almost a year. Let him go. No optioning. Just let him go.

Murphy loves him. No chance

Woodford's role is to be the guy that you don't care about his arm. There have to be better options out there, even if it is Crod

This is why no matter how good the Brewers are when it comes playoff time we don't stand a chance. Just too many bats to compete when you are dragging Ortiz and Hamilton of the world.

Thank the Lord this one is over...

Tomorrow is a new day.

Chourio chasing ball four 6 inches below the zone then watching strike three right down the middle is a pretty fitting way for this game to end. Flush it.

Exactly. Arnold's philosophy of team building has been very effective and will win a lot of regular season games, but it would take an incredible amount of luck to get to a World Series much less win it. A black hole 7-9 in the lineup will get exposed big time.

Highlight of the game was probably the announcers contemplating why so many bad players are on the team when there are better players in AAA.  Nice to get announcers who aren't on the team's payroll once in a while for a sanity check.

The brewers have a good team and can realistically improve in multiple positions.   Let’s see if they try

ive kind of given up in woody and Priester this year but they would look good in gassers spot

Not using Megill after the leadoff walk in the 8th was interesting. It isn't a no-brainer since you're down a run, but he hasn't worked much lately, plus he WAS up earlier. Kinda looked like a 2nd-guess to me. But bottom line, Hall has the ability to get outs from both sides of the plate provided he gets ahead in the count & just didn't do that. This was sort of an audition for better things AFA his role is concerned & he failed.

Other than that, once it settled in to a 4-3 game the biggest difference was that one team chased too much---definitely too much to expect to win---and the other team chased virtually never.

I wonder if Woodford will be removed. He's a 13th man on the staff, no better or worse than other 13th men around MLB, but you'll need long coverage if needed the next few days.
