You've seriously gotta love the DSL: Brewers Gold trailed 9-3 entering the 9th inning, but have reeled off 6 runs to tie it, with the bases still loaded and 1 out. This includes a Ricki Moneys grand slam and Josue Rodriguez game-tying double! Go Goldmembers!!

RF Jose Anderson has homered in 5 straight games and looks to power Low-A Wilson to a 2-1 series lead at Hill City. RHP Miqueas Mercedes makes his 8th start (9 appearance) - 4.61 ERA, 1.76 WHIP, 10.5 K/9 in 27.1 IP.

RHP Yorman Galindez had a solid last outing (4 IP, 1 R, 3 Ks) and aims to lead the AA Shuckers to a 3-1 series advantage at Birmingham. C Matt Wood has caught 22 innings over the past 2 days and is apparently up for 9 more tonight.

Is it possible that Matt Wood could someday inch ahead of Quero in the organizational pecking order? He has interesting offensive numbers to say the least, what with the HR pop & the absurd BB/K ratio. I know he has issues throwing out baserunners but the rest of his defensive game is considered decent, right?

Why did the DSL schedule a game at Las Vegas Ballpark?

Wood's 1.5 years older than Quero, which might work against him. But yeah, it looks like Kevin Martir unlocked an offensive breakthrough in late May 2025 which can eventually give Wood an MLB shot.

Marco Dinges probably has more upside than both players.
