Burries and Jaku are real plus NBA players. This is huge. JJJ is a scrappy guy. Herro is a very gifted offensive player - the same defensive liability he has always been. The Bucks have way too much dead weight to realistically be anything other than a 20-30 win team. They have no rebounding, little meaningful depth 3-through-5, and they lack athleticism. They are going to really struggle until the address these glaring weaknesses. I felt Jenkins really lost the pulse late 3rd into the 4th. But, man alive, it is extremely hard to win with Kuzma and Turner getting the amount of minutes they are getting and will get until they are off the roster. I sincerely hope that rumored GSW trade for draft assets and Porzingis is real. I don't care when the dominoes fall but they need to fall. GTJ not playing a single minutes is legitimately hilarious. It's the right decision but it's hilarious given the context of the League investigation and his contract.

Kuz sucks and I don't like watching him play

yeah everyone hated that move when they got him and everyone can't wait for him to go. Everyone else other than Turner is at least kind of fun to watch

Kuzma with 27 minutes and Ware with 14 is awful. I get it is early and you want the vets to play but Ware should be averaging 30 minutes a game, he isnt a rookie. Burries with 16 and Ament DNP arent good either.

They are going to get demolished inside by capable bigs this season.

I don't care about KPJ, but just a funny judgement on where the NBA is; I can't imagine a 17-7-5 player being released the day before the season in the 90s.

Last night was almost exactly what I expected from this season. High energy, high effort, but no finishing ability and losing the 4th quarter most of the time. I thought they'd lose the entire time even as competitive as it was through 3/4 of the game. I just knew they wouldn't finish, that's just what the NBA is, nothing matters until the 4th.

I don't have issues with the minutes in Game 1. Burries drew 3 PFs in 15 minutes and was a -12, he doesn't know what he's doing defensively, I trust Jenkins to move him along.

He fouled out early in the game....

I thought Ament was questionable with an injury?

He Practiced in Full the two days leading up. He was a healthy scratch. I don't dislike giving him more time, however. Kuz, realistically, can't be taking his minutes when he puts out that output late 3rd into the 4th. It was egregiously bad. I had the unfortunate opportunity to see this all happen as it happened😅

The thing is, with this roster as is, they have to play Turner. It tells us more about the state of the roster than the worth of Turner who came in quite obviously out of shape and overweight. I personally think Jenkins needs to find ways to get Sims' rebounding in the game. Jericho may be pigeon holed as a PnR and hustle guy but in the very least he can rebound the basketball. The Zebras were calling all sorts of egregious phantom fouls in favor of AD in the 3rd (it was embarrassing, honestly) that kept the Wizards in the game. The Bucks pulled away by 7 points. Didn't matter. AD could just fall over and go straight to the line. He shot, I believe, 12 FT in the frame? All of them crucial as it stopped Bucks momentum and kept Washington within single digits. Kuzma came in and just continued to put up empty boneheaded possessions and that's all She wrote. Bucks lost all momentum and started rushing shots to get it back to single digits. They pulled within 7 from 13 and could never get over that hump. Washington was more athletic, bigger, and the Bucks faded away. I think Jenkins will look at how long he benched Herro; what he can do to impact rebounding; and how he can avoid crucial negative Kuzma minutes if he is going to give his team a fighting chance to pull out victories here and there.

Hopefully Turner can light a fire under his butt so we can trade him off at the deadline.  I attributed Turner's fade last year to not meshing with Giannis (not an attribute solely pinned on him), but that wasn't a good start for him.  Just play good enough that someone else thinks he will help their team please!

Kuz... he was a money saving deal and not a talent decision.  Just waiting for the $22M to come off the books so we can move on.

I agree that we have to play Turner, he should be the leader and if he plays well enough we can trade him at some point to a team in need of a big. I think that by like Christmas the Warriors are going to get a bit desperate and a Turner for Porzingis deal in some capacity will work.

The issue is that Kuzma should be a DNP most nights, Ware has the upside that he should play as much as possible and the Dieng and Ament should each play 20 plus minutes a night between the 3 and 4. Here would be a sensible minutes projection when everyone is healthy to me.

1) Rollins 28, Jak 20

2)Herro 28, Burries, 20

3) Jacquez 28, Dieng 10, Ament 10

4) Ware 16, Dieng 16,, Ament 10, Bogo 6 (like 12 every other night)

5)Turner 26, Ware 12, Sims 10

When guys are out Green, Kuz, and Trent can get some run but we need to be looking at maximizing the young guys who are the future. I feel like if we play the vets and things go well this team is probably at best a play in games team.

2 straight games of falling apart in the 4th. Not sure if its, coaching or just inexperience. Both opponents were very favorable as well. Those that thought they could be a play in game candidate may be overreacting.

They don't have the players to finish a game.  Herro is fine as your 3rd or 2nd scorer but when he has to be the main scorer in the NBA and who you are relying on to close out a game.  Yeah that is just not going to work.  He is just not that type of a player.  The Bucks basically will have to blowout teams or get lucky and have the other teams main scorer go cold in the 4th to win games.

Will they get lucky here and there and win some games they shouldn't sure, but I wouldn't count on that happening a lot.  This is a bottom of the league team in the East and possibly in all of the NBA.  The Bucks could have the greatest coach in NBA history or in basketball history and this team still wouldn't win many games.  There is a clear lack of talent on this team and I don't see this getting better at least not this season and probably not next season either.  I will be surprised if this team wins more than 25 games this season.  They are not as bad as the 2012 Bobcats but they sure look like it at times so far this season.  That team only won 7 games in a lockout shortened season.  But the Bucks may start to look like the 2014-2016 76ers who went a combined 47-199.

Turner is turning into the FA pumpkin the Bucks always sign.  Why is this team so bad at signing free agents?

He looks fat to me as well. Shade of Anthony Mason.

Saw someone write that all this team needs is a 6'11" guy who can run the floor, create inside, and distribute the ball.
