Frias dropping out of the Top Twenty and not even showing up on two of the ballots?

The Brewers have had seven teenage prospects have low-A seasons with at least 200 plate appearances and a wRC+ of 120 or more since 2021. That includes Chourio, Adams, Pratt, Made and Pena. One of the two recent additions, Handelfry Encarnacion, didn’t even get a vote here. Neither, unless I missed something, did any of the DSL breakouts. Kind of amazing (the depth, not the voters excluding them).

Cooper Pratt should graduate (minimum 45 days' MLB time) by the trade deadline and I believe that Craig Yoho has now graduated.

I struggle to put any of the recent draft picks in the top 20.  This org is too deep.  That could change quickly once/if they start getting some playing time this year.

Agreed, for example if Bitonti was in college I would think he would have been an easy top 20 pick. I am going to find it hard to put Ebel or Stosnider over him or even guys like Frias, Encarnacion, or the top 3/4 DSL guys.

It is amazing and I think we can thank the best international prospect-procurement system in baseball for that amazing positional prospect depth.

This last class absolutely looks like the deepest class they’ve ever had. When a prospect like Leanders Matos can’t get inside a team’s top 20, or a Moneys-Frontado, it’s a staggeringly deep system.
