I'm a huge fan of simple hitting mechanics like Pratt has.

Minimal amount of movement with a short compact swing

Reminds me of Turang in that the power is going to come.

Cooooooooop!  (Makes me feel like im 6 again)

Yelich should just model his swing after Cecil cooper for the rest of his career.    Give up on the dumbass launch angle when you are old and crappy

concentrate on more contact and keep the bat in the zone longer

Tigers fans aren’t as angry as I expected.  That seems really light for a return.  A 28 year old prospect, a pitcher coming off Tommy John, and a lefty CF when Detroit’s best young OF is a lefty CF.

I’m going to be pretty pissed if Lara is suddenly behind Lockridge in the OF pecking order.

Better prepare...

For someone that doesn't follow other teams prospects, what is a Brewer comparable?

River Ryan is 28 years old but some places have him as a top 100 prospect.  It's hard to have a comparable just based on that.  Would a 28 year old pitcher in any other organization be considered a top 100 prospect?

Good win.

They are all good.  Though this win is why I love this team and worry about this team come the playoffs.  I love that I feel like when the game is close later they will pull it out.  And I worry because its.much harder to hold the Dodgers or Cubs to 1 run this late.

The talking heads who had they getting Made and Henderson from us for him were always just talking out of their rears and that was never going to happen.

For a rental I thought they did fine. Hope is about Pena level for us and I would not have wanted to give up Pena for a rental.

Ortiz got murphed

also hopefully Murph figures out when Patrick goes out dominates like tonight you can’t bring him back tomorrow.   He needs days off in between and he’s way more effective

Drohan?  I know hes wasnt rated in the top 100.  But he was a 27 year old prospect the Brewers looks like they coveted.

We should have offered sproat and Jett Williams that’s about the equivalent of what the dodgers gave

I wonder if Peralta comes here now.    We need some relievers though

If that would have gotten it done, I would have done it.

Murphy just said, “that left handed kid they brought in, I don’t know who that was, but he was really good”.  Isn’t it his job to know?  I get interleague probably has far less scouting reports but still not a great look to say that in the post game presser.
