Said it when it happened, said it before the trade deadline and will continue to say it.  Once the Dodgers got Skubal you stand pat or you put out offers to controllable bats and see if a team bites.

Yeah, should’ve traded Pena for Buxton, oh wait….

Hurts even more knowing that Baseball America now rates St Louis' farm system higher than ours.

All it took was two of our not top 10 prospects?

Reminds me of Kuhnel

Hey we may get to witness both in the same game in the not too distant future. Something to look forward to.

I mean they’ve been sellers every season since 2023, and have a a couple of Top 10 draft picks as well, so it kind of makes sense that would be the case.

That and the Brewers graduating some talent, but yeah.

So once we get blasted by the dodgers the next four games what do we need to do to get to 90 wins.   I’m assuming that’s enough to make the playoffs?

That guy will be nowhere to be found now and then will complain that people are scaring people out of the game thread.

Well that game and series sucked. The way she goes, boys. Way of the road.

Way she goes.

It’s really not that alarming. It seems the Brewers play poorly on the West Coast every summer. I know they swept the Dodgers in the regular season last year but still.

Have you been watching this lineup for the last two months and your reaction is, "meh, no big deal". Is that your honest takeaway?

Does this really feel like just a bad West Coast swing?

Nats showing some grit

Too bad they can’t exchange some of that grit for pitching

This is the first time I’m going to say this. Because it’s easy to blame the coach.     But this team is not being managed properly right now

i don’t know if the GM is also causing some problems but you have to start trying to win games now.   They keep worrying about some invisible game 40 days from now.

this is a disaster of managing the last quarter of the season

Wonder what the betting markets have for the division. I think the Cubs win it by at least 4 games.

Not to me. This feels like a collapse.

Pathetic by Turang and Lara.

Ho hum, another pitch right down the middle and these guys don't swing.

I don't disagree. But the swings at pitches that are not strikes hurt just as much. Lotsa potential 2-1s turned into 1-2s, 3-1s turned into 2-2s, etc.

Sometimes she goes, sometimes she doesn't. She didn't go, that's the way she goes.

Guess we're goin' home then.

Fanduel is at -260 Brewers and +200 for Cubs.

Division was always going to come down to the 7 games against the cubs. They didn’t win 10 in a row twice on accident.

the difference though now is whether they win it by 4+ or we can win it in a nail biter.

their pitching only has to give up 5 or less runs to win while we are the polar opposite.
