One player you say is “washed” the other player people are mad when he’s not in the lineup yet both players have nearly identical stats this season

Our light hitting, defensive whiz of a shortstop is better offensively than our designated hitter.  Wow, you really owned us.

Yeah Bauers striking out with a guy on 2nd and 0 outs was positive

I’m surprised that you would besmirch him like that after you unsurprisingly just got done telling us how much better and more intelligent you are than the rest of us for seeing his breakout coming while we wanted him gone last year.

And have Mitchell in against a LHP? Vs RHP I would agree with you

I'm not sure what you mean by that but if you go take a look at the splits for the season right now Vaughn is hitting right-handers better than Yelich.

Lara now has a higher OPS than Pratt. I think it was only like a week ago when the consensus was that Pratt has shown it with the bat and we haven’t seen it with Lara. Shows how fast things can change in such a small sample.

Think Pratt could've used a few more rehab games to get some timing down.  He's looked bad since he came back.

Will never understand this obsession with bunting

Because in general baseball players can’t hit anymore

Who would play the OF against LHP? Vaughn DH, Bauers 1B but that would mean Frelick or Mitchell would be in against a lefty

Either option would be better than Yelich in the lineup

Is Mitchell really any worse against LHP than Yelich, so yeah, fine with the better defense and Yeli on the bench right now.

Mitchell has reverse splits right now. He's hittng .269 against left-handers and .259 against right-handers and he has a higher OBP and OPS against left-handers.

That even surprised me when I looked it up.

Oddball stand for the day..

Mike Yastrzemski has a career ops of 1.110 versus the Boston Red Sox.

He's also beat up the Brewers fairly well in his career OPSing .860

Man it sure seems like Suter has been untouchable whenever he's faced the Crew.

0.43 ERA in 13 career appearances.  Other than the Angels (scoreless in two appearances) more a full run better against us than the next best team.

We all can acknowledge a small sample size. We can also acknowledge exit velocity. I don’t see even gap power with Lara. I get he’s 21.

Hall feeling frisky.

If he can keep the walks under control he can be very valuable.

I think we have to wait till both these guys have 400 at bats under their belt to really have an idea on their ceiling
