Was curious how they’d get Adams/Burke/Wilken/Quero all in the same lineup and now Quero is back catching again finally so I have my answer

Great to see Kuehner pitching again — and pitching so well to boot.

Are they limiting Sproats innings or converting him to relief?

After capturing the first game of today’s doubleheader in Norfolk, the Sounds can snatch a 3-2 series win behind RHP Tyson Hardin (5.14 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, 9.2 K/9 in 75.1 AAA IP). SS Ethan Murray has homered in 2 of his last 3 games. Jihwan Bae is playing second base.

Innings shouldn't be too big of a concern at 116 IP in 2024, 141 IP last year, and 107 IP so far this year after today.

Maybe seeing if the stuff plays up a little bit in shorter outings, or maybe just a function of the doubleheader today?

LHP JD Thompson gets a second crack at Rocket City after losing Tuesday’s contest (4 IP, 3 R, 8 Ks). Biloxi have lost 4 of 5 in the series. Luis Pena has a 6-game hitting streak and gets his first AA start at shortstop.

Brewers top pitching prospects pitching well today. Kuehner-Hardin-Morrison all with excellent outings.

Hopefully Thompson can join them.

The Eric Bitonti game is unfolding: RBI single, solo homer, another solo homer. 6-5 Wisconsin thus far:

22HR/22SB season and counting

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Thompson with an uneven performance today. Too many baserunners with 5 hits/4 BB’s but limited runs with 2 and did K 7.
