Just a reminder, there's a lunar eclipse tonight.

Tomorrow.

A big lead is so nice to have. That Vaughn AB feels a lot differently when you can brush it off up 7 runs compared to our normal tight low scoring games lately.

Just seems so unnecessary to pull Gasser here.  Worst case scenario after this batter it's still 8-3.

Great job, GasMan.

Great performance after that first pitch.    To come in completely unexpected and have to warm up etc.     just a great pitching performance tonight

Not to belabor the point but Frelick could have been at 3rd if he had started running right away.

I noticed that as well.

I'd love to see someone study how streaky (or not) teams and individual really players are.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

I know many people on this board would rather have the Cubs offense however the Crew is a better overall balanced team. Fans would rather win 7-6 than 3-2. I just want winning baseball and the Crew has provided that above all expectations.

I’d rather have the Brewers pitching and the Cubs offense.

Scoring more than 6 runs more often puts a lot less stress on the pitching staff.

Mitchell didn't seem too interested in keeping his front shoulder in against Yon.

And I can't say I blame them after the way he was spraying the ball damn near clipping Sal a couple of times

I have enough on my hands dealing with the world as it is.

Anyone who watched the Cubs game today saw Crow Armstrong go berserk more than once.

He hadn’t had a hit in the series and when he struck out early in the game he slammed his bat a few times then they showed him slamming his glove in the dugout.

Then later he was on third when he thought the pitcher balked. Counsell and Berry were yelling at the umps  so they got together to discuss it. When they ruled no balk Crow went bonkers. Berry had to restrain him from charging the ump. It did look like the pitcher (Rodriguez) had stepped back off the rubber and then sped up his delivery home as the Crow danced down the line. But with his reaction he probably should have been kicked out.
