Im so glad Vaughn isnt in the lineup so I can see Yelich come through in the clutch.  Your best hitter needs to sit in a shootout like this.

I would love to know what our record is with him in the starting lineup versus not in the starting lineup

Murphy is just waiting to pinch hit him one batter too late.

I wish he would either just go on a tear and carry the offense, or completely tank so we can stop pretending he’s good and stop penciling him into the DH spot every night.

This .238 average , .701 OPS DH does nothing for anyone. Not quite bad enough to get benched but not good enough to move the needle for the offense.

I don't know how much that matters.  Hes still one of nine, to many variables in that sample size.  But I do know a guy that's your best hitter, coming off a 10 game hit streak shouldn't be bemched multiple games in a row.

Have you seen the at bats tonight? Not sure anyone qualifies

Tonight sure, over the course of the season, a lot better candidates.

That AB was still the worst. No one else chased a pitch at their ankles tonight. It killed the rally just like that. He had a 3-1 count in his hands before chasing the 2-1 with a good chance to go bases loaded 1 out.

Instead he decided to be a hero and forgot that he’s not that guy anymore.

I hope they leave Yelich off the playoff roster.  Right now he is about as useful as the ghost of Tony Gwynn with a bat and since he can't play the field it is better to just tell him go home you suck.

The Milwaukee Brewers have a record of 26-15 in games without Christian Yelich this season, compared to an estimated 57-36 record when he is in the lineup. There you go, any questions?

When else has a better come up with 2 on tonight? Stupid ass comment while I was trying my best to exude a little optimism while getting our lunch shoved down our throats. I know Yelich sucks, I’ve watched him fall apart yet again this season, still try to show a little optimism as we’re stuck with him

If Harrison doesn't go back on the IL for elbow issues, he certainly will for whiplash whipping his head around watching those balls fly over the fence.

Lets be honest.  If not for 2018, 2019, and his contract, .238 with a .701 OPS is enough to get benched as a DH only player.

It wasn’t stupid. I wish you had been right. I wish he was still that guy. I’d love for him to carry the offense on his back to a World Series.

Forget starting at home.  They might need to question if he starts at all if this continues.

Aside from Miz and Henderson they don’t really have a trustworthy starter for the playoffs.

I will donate my elbow to Kyle as tribute.
