Ueck Doc to Air on Brewers.tv Thursday, Sept 10 at 6; Available for 24 hours

Just got this notice in my inbox. If we have Brewers.tv subscribers, the Ueck documentary is going to be available to stream for 24 hours, starting at 6PM on Thursday, 9/10. Times up perfectly for an off day. 

Not sure if there's another thread dedicated to the doc (I imagine there is), but I thought it worth separate mention.

I live in Baltimore and it at least allowed me to sign up for the free Brewers.tv trial. We'll see tomorrow if it blocks me from watching the doc. I'm hoping they only blackout the actual games being out of market 🤞

Also doesn't look like people like me that gets the games via cable or streaming will be able to stream it.  Like others said, some day it be on itunes to purchase. Just A Bit Outside was eventually.

Unbelievably, I went to the mlb app earlier this morning and the Ueck film was available even here in Arizona!!!

So we watched it.

 We laughed.  We cried.

 We cried so much!

But it was really done well!!! Wow!

Mrs. Samurai and I watched it as well.

The thing that struck me is when they had Uecker mic'ed up when he told Yelich about the cancer diagnosis.  He said, "You are the only one [here] that knows."

I am probably reading into things, but it seemed like a torch was passed from Uecker to Yelich.

Again, there is a Clubhouse Coefficient that is part of the organization.  Uecker was the main key and the organization needs to carry on that legacy and mindset.

Drat, I saw it was on Brewers.TV, but didn't think to check the regular MLB app for us out-of-staters. Don't see it in the app now, so guessing I missed the chance.

Watched it late Thursday night.  That was awesome.  Saw things I hadn't seen before.  Man, near the end when the final out was made vs. the Mets made me feel really awful.   I am not going to spoil it for those that have yet to watch.  But man.

Was great!

Cemented a couple of things for me.

1) That Mets loss was and will, for some time, remain as the most painful I've experienced as a Brewers fan. I put it above the NLCS losses, even Game 4 and Game 7 in 2018 and Game 5 in 2016 (heck, I might have the 2019 WC loss above all of those). A lot of that is just because of the end of an era kind of feeling it created. The silver lining to that loss is that it's hard to feel like this team can break me much more, and there's been quite a bit of freedom in that the last two years.

2) Yelich deserves more credit than he gets. I know he's had tough stretches. But he's also put up two of the best seasons in franchise history and done it all while kind of just quietly keeping the team together. Folks will gripe about whether that's worth his contract. I don't care. Whatever we've paid the guy, it's worth it. I'm rooting for him to have a mini-Renaissance late-career and make the Hall of Fame. He's not that far off.

Did the same, and yes, it picks the emotional scab from that loss big time.
