I actually feel better about Harrison having that kind of night than I would have if he'd gone out there and given up no runs with 93mph soft tosses that flied out.

Yeah there's still a problem and he's playing himself off the roster, but you have to give him another go after seeing where the velocity is.

He’s got to be tipping his pitches and everyone else has figured it out but us. I can’t think of what else is going on at this point. The velocity and command was the best it’s been in awhile.

The 1-2 pitch to Stewart caught a little too much of the plate but other than that the command was pretty good. The 0-1 slurve to Bleday was perfectly located. I don’t know how he hit that aside from just knowing it was coming.

It's the FB shape. His arm angle has dropped since he came off the IL so he's not getting as much vert on his fastball. Doesn't matter how hard he throws if the arm angle and shape aren't up to par.

Seems like something that is probably fixable in the offseason, but probably not fixable in the next few weeks.

Some of those pitches are cookies.  Big league hitters are not going to miss those even with velo very often.

The extra game on the Dodgers is pretty nice. 2.5 plus the tie breaker means the team likely just needs to play 7-6 the rest of the way. 8-5 all but forces the Dodgers to win out

It never ceases to amaze me how thin the line is between dominance and being sent to the minors.
