I haven't been much into football for a decade. A lot of it is CTE. Some of it is definitely the commercials, etc. More than I'd like to admit is a result of the last game I really cared about--the Packers losing to the Seahawks in 2015.

CTE was the final straw that made me give up on football.

I didn't watch a single down of football in 2015-2016 as part of a little personal writing project. When I came back, it felt completely different, and I actually felt like my weekends were better. Works for me, anyway.

We caught the 1st quarter of the Bears/Panthers game and the play for both teams was sloppy.

I've got that game on split screen, a crazy 55 points scored at HALFTIME.  Unfortunately, the Bears are up 7, but it's been a pretty fun game.  Caleb Williams vs Bryce Young.
