That's exatly how post season baseball works.  Shorter starts, more bullpen usage.

Why would he probably get shelled?  He does a fairly good job limiting hard contact .  And if there's a time where you're fine using 3 or 4 relievers a game it's the playoffs.  Again, tons of off days.  Have you ever seen the playoffs before?  Because everything you're posting right now suggests you haven't.

The Dodgers are going to throw out 3/4 Cy Young starters.  No other team will.  Those teams will do exactly what I said they will do.  So yes, 100%.  Pointing to the one team that does it different is the exception that proves the rule.

My freaking point is, by the time you get to the bullpen with him, you are likely already down 3 or 4 to nothing(after 3) and at that point you are just wasting the bullpen.

How can you say that about Gasser but not May who has been miles worse than Gasser these last two months???

So you think Miz and Henderson will only go 4-5 innings? I'd take Huge odds they will go deeper than that. What say you?

Stuff looked good. When he was locating they didn't do anything. The three hits all came on pitches that missed the target by over a foot. Two FB wanted up thrown down in the zone and a slurve wanted outside thrown inside.

Your freaking point is wrong.  He's given up two runs or less in his last five.

Hopefully not for Mis, he's the one guy we have in that category.  Henderson,  yes, absolutely.

You said he can get through 3 innings and blows up in the 4th, since you seem to think it's like clockwork, we could easily plan on him going 3 innings and then fill in with May, Drohan, whoever to get to Ashby/Uribe/Megill.

Again, you give Miz and Henderson a chance to work out of trouble.  If Gasser, May, Drohan or whoever else starts and gets into trouble, you pull them and go with your bullpen, because, again, for the last time, with so many built in off days your relievers get a lot more rest than they do in the regular season and you can use them sooner and in more games.
