Just saw the Yelly captain thing. I can say I only hope that this is to make the disappointment of not starting some playoff games sting a little less. Otherwise it's kinda strange to announce now.

I'd say no if he doesn't get recalled before the postseason but I guess you can never know.

Mitchell has had a really good season but he takes strike three way to often.

Right field is concerning. Lara and Sal have basically showed nothing at the plate.

Someone who is smart and has the time can probably confirm or refute this… 

 

but it feels like the brewers haven’t done a lot of mid inning pitching changes this season. Probably because their bullpen has generally been really good and their lefties are decent enough against righties for the most part. However for the last month or so it seemed like on occasions Murphy has allowed SP to get one extra up without having the pitch the full inning and here recently they’ve done some mid inning changes with guys who may be more match up dependent like Senzatela and Romero. I like it. Give these guys a taste of coming in mid inning since that’s going to happen in the playoffs.

So what was the board's general response to Harrisson's good couple innings?  I know I could go back and read them, but I'm a very, very lazy human being, so......

Positive, of course.  Mixed on his role or roster spot in the playoffs

Cool, thanks.  I thought it was good to see, too.  So most folks accept he'll be on the PS roster now?  There was talk of him being left off as recently as yesterday.

I don't know that it is a given, but he is trending the right way..  The last roster spot probably comes down to him, Senzatela, or Anderson.

I look forward to him being in the 2027 starting rotation. Hopefully, he can get his arm slot adjusted before next season begins.

Sad how you don’t think someone who was a big part of the Brewers success shouldn’t be on the playoff roster 

No reason why he can’t fill the LR type role

A 5+ ERA with the Brewers doesn't make him a lock.
