This game feels like it could swing the whole series from having the lead to giving it up. Why didn't they walk Freeman to set up the double play?

That's what I thought May was in for. Weird move.

It’s only the top of the 5th inning…

They got a medium distance pop up, the choice and result were both fine.

No, to me that's a no brainer. You walk the lefty to get to the righty to set up the double play...inning over still tied.

Not sure it would have made a difference but it wasn't a particularly great throw.

It was a good throw.

That is not what he did at all, he was commenting on Logan’s 3 earned run streak.

He only gave up 2 earned runs so technically the streak is still going

Lol if you get the double play, yes.

But there are 100 other results that could also happen

He was great for two innings against the Pods.

He's got electric stuff... I don't really trust him, but... Henderson took himself out of the game.

The Bats need to come back and get to that pen.

Is it over? 3 earned runs

If we're only counting earned runs it's intact thanks to his Jon Lester impression.

Why would you add more base runners for Hernandez and Ohtani?

Because they suddenly go from throwing off a mound from a set position to having to field a ball and rush (often) a throw off of flat ground. It's a much different feeling and not always easy to do on the fly.

It's likely why Ashby whips the ball to first. I always found it easier to set myself if I had time and throw it hard like when I'm playing catch.

Yep. It's a different throw, unless a pitcher winds up and throws a strike to first (as some pitchers do).

Ok, let's get the run back and then some.

I must be misremembering then because I thought it was 3 runs total

Can't help but give the Dodgers credit for playing cleaner baseball, taking advantage of our mistakes. I pray we win anyway.

He might be the best option for strike outs from the pen. Didn't happen enough.

Yes. I agree on not walking Freeman. But I do think the Brewers need to win this game to win the series.

I can live with losing to the Dodgers again if they just end up being better.

But if we lose this game because we beat ourselves, that will be incredibly hard to swallow.

That's an ugly swing by Turang, but he's looked better. Lets just get back on the bases and... keep battling. We'll push across another couple.

Exactly,  Hopefully the bats don't go to sleep for the next three innings.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave
