    I'm a bit out of the loop, what's this deal with Carpenter and his son? Edit: Just remembered. Hopefully his son is okay, I would hate for his child to be as scarred as Prince's home run ball. I do feel out of the loop and it is bugging me. What is the story behind this? Wasn't able to watch the game but great to see the Brewers win the series. Hopefully they can do it again tomorrow and be in 1st in the division. Here ya go.

    Probably because games at the end of the year have more perceived importance than games in April.

    8th actually. Almonte, Wheeler, Kottaras, Buller, Boggs, Katin, Green then Gamel. There is no way I would expect any of those guys to actually outhit Gamel in the majors.

    It might get him a call tonight or in a future game. At least I believe that is probably the thinking behind it.

    I don't know what he will be using for minutes. It is more to get him used to being responsible with his minutes so when he is on our plan he will not run over on our minutes and jack up our bill. We may just wait till our contract is up and get a third phone that will stay as a "home" phone. We get free incoming and after 7:00 minutes. A prepaid phone may actually cost us more money, at least initially. I am still in the research stage.

    We pay about $85 a month for 2 phones. Pay $0.25 per text message. Don't text enough to make it worth the $10 per phone for unlimited text. I don't think Virgin will work since we live in the sticks. Looks like Virgin mostly covers the major cities and highways.

    Those who don't sign may go next year. I am not the one getting upset about any of this. I just really don't see the point in looking forward 363 days at this point.

    I am. The draft analysis for this draft just finished. Until we have a batter idea who will sign it doesn't really pay to look forward to next year much.
