    Weeks is leading the NL in wOBA by a pretty large margin. Phillips is currently 5th. Phillips(.325) is closer to Espinoza(second best wOBA at .348) than Espinoza is to Weeks(.379).

    I will. It may be Melvin's decision but since he relies on DPR's input. Until the move to go from Nieves to Kottaras every fringe roster decision has been less than optimal and in some cases just plain wrong. Honestly I think most managers get some input into bench players.

    Jump, it won't hurt much. You can jump back on after he gets right.

    C is an average manager so I give him an F. He has made bad decisions on almost all the fringe choices he has had.

    Yup, but I would bring up Gamel instead for interleague then send him back down for Boggs after interleague.

    I'm with you on that. All that should matter is production, and he has been great this year. J.C. Romero just got DFA'd by the Phillies, I wouldn't mind picking him up.Yep, when we're going "all in" this year, we should have our best players on the team.Agree with that. The worst part is we could make 3-4 moves to improve the MLB club without even trading anybody and it would make a pretty big difference.

    He brought in his LOOGY to face a lefty. Leaving him in against the righty is dumb though.

    I guess. I just don't see the problem with them being a little more honest. I don't think most people understand just how little money most minor league guys actually get, especially the lower round guys. All most people see are the Braun and A-Rod contracts.

    Maybe they were asked if they were going to sign. What would you tell the interviewer?

    The way he filled his bottles made me cringe a little. That is a very fancy fermenter.

    I don't blame these guys for wanting to go to college instead. The pay is completely pathetic in the low minors.

    The first one was a short hop stubby couldn't pick. He should have. A better 1B would have. The second was a Yuni impression. Couldn't bend over to field it.

    That right there is why Fielder leaving won't hurt as much as we think.

    The real problem is that it doesn't seem like he is learning anything. He still uses Kotsay in CF. He continues to play poor matchups with his pen. He still uses small ball way to much.

    I don't think Svuem would be any better. I remember some dumb lineups and small ball from him as well.

    Yup, it's from the book. I didn't want to give that away but by now I think everybody realizes that anybody can die at any time.

    I think DPR has at least some input in the roster.

    4 hits off of Ryan Dempster. Yes the squeeze was a dumb decision, still not going to win many games if your offense gives you 4 hits. This is exactly the type of game you want a good manager for. Your team is going to have days like this once in a while. A good manager would have given us a better chance to win. DPR on the other hand did almost everything he could to kill our chances to win.

    I have not seen a single episode but have a good idea where they are in the story. How are you guys liking this show?
