  1. And LTE wont be available for you in Bruce, WI for a couple years. It is just a faster network than Verizon 3G. Check this out though: https://www.verizonwirele...c/netbook/?page=features
  2. Xoom is an android powered tablet. It is an alternative that seems to have a lot of features for business applications. Really though, a Netbook sounds like it would be more useful. I think a lot of people convince themselves they want an iPad when it doesn't necessarily address their needs as well as other options.
  3. Just got Assasin's Creed Brotherhood. So far the new combat moves are pretty awesome. Being able to string hidden blade kills togeather is super cool when you are surounded by 5 or 6 guys.
  4. It sounds like she wants to remotly access her work computer? Where is your cabin? You can get Verizon 3G there? Did you check to see if Verizon's LTE will be available as well? If thats the case, I would at least consider getting a Xoom as speeds will be much faster fore remote access. Really though, if its for business and not just for small multimedia applications, why not get a Netbook? Cheaper and much better for business in my opinion. And no keyboard problems since it actually has a physical keyboard. http://www.droid-life.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/ipad2-v-xoom.jpg
  5. More so than Hart who largely escapes criticism? He has missed time the last two seasons as well.
  6. Looks like Haudricourt claimed another victim.
  7. http://www.czimers.com/home.html This place is in Homer Glen, IL. I might have to drive down there one of these weekends and get one of everything. Is black bear good?
  8. Huh... you must have gotten a bad one... they're normally delicious...Not sure how far we are allowed to take this on a PG board, but this made me laugh.
  9. And they run into an out at 3rd. FIRE RON ROENICKE!
  10. Some of the resident Debbie Downers feel the need to post something along those lines in every thread about partying around MP. I will second the Bloody's. In my opinion, there is nothing more important for a tailgate. The one thing I miss the most about living in WI is proper bloodies with a sidecar.
  11. Yea, but did he stretch out? Since he has a better personality than Gamel I am guessing the injury isn't his fault.
  12. Sounds like fun Brewer Fever. Wish I could be there. The best opening day tailgate I ever had involved us getting there when the parking lots opened and making breakfast foods on a griddle. Something about breakfast food at a tailgate does it for me.
  13. "Let me stop you. I think you heard "give me a lot of eggs and bacon". I said, "give me ALL your eggs and bacon."
  14. Doesn't the meds he's taking now take care of chemical imbalance? No. They help but its a constant battle between controlling the imbalance and side effects. He was interviewed a week or two ago talking about how he tried to up his meds this winter but the side effects were too much to handle. The person I am close with who has ADD and Social Anxiety Disorder hardly eats and will sleep all day if given the oportunity due to the drugs. Without the meds he wouldn't want to leave the house. With them, he can leave but constantly suffers and like Zack, the simple things we take for granted exhaust him by taking a huge amount of effort.
  15. I recall his injury last year was supposedly related to not warming up properly, so I wonder if something similar happened. I think it mostly depends if the person who reports on the injury still hates Mat Gamel.
  16. So you are faulting him for having a chemical imbalance that makes him want to withdraw yet continuing to live his life in the public eye. I am sure you know he has been diagnosed with Social Anxiety disorder and takes meds for it. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if he has some level of Asperger's as well since the two seem to overlap in symptoms. He has been given the gift of the best arm in the last decade while also having something taken from him most of us take for granted. We should be thrilled he gets out of bed every day and choses to use his gift in a Brewer uniform.
  17. Regardless, if your point is that baseball or other sports for that matter shouldn't try to emulate the NFL I have to disagree.
  18. The sport that has seen team profits going down by a considerable amount and is probably going to miss part of their next season because of it you mean? NFL team worth was finally hit this year by the recession, but profits have never been stronger thanks to their television system. http://www.forbes.com/2010/08/25/most-valuable-nfl-teams-business-sports-football-valuations-10-intro.html
  19. I don't think anyone had a problem with the Card's fanbase so much as the Cards themselves and their remarks to the media.
  20. I usually just do sets of 5, but if I just did one set to failure I would guess around 10? It takes a while to get better for sure.
  21. If you are still just in Season 1, you are in for a real treat.
  22. Tom getting thrown through the bookcase was great too. But Ron Swanson killed it the entire episode between the mustache and his reaction to the posibility of moving to Canada.
  23. http://www.speedtest.net/result/1111847020.png 4G Wi-Max with Clear.
