  1. No that isn't the posters point at all, was saying how it is and not what it should be. However, for the most part it has not been a rotational spot. Even in Arnold's short time has acquired Winker and Voit, not much defense there.
  2. No better time for Owen Miller to turn it around than against his former team.
  3. What Miller did in May is certainly worth the cash, there are very few players even around the league that will hit like he did for a month. However, what he is doing now is what he did with Cleveland last year. Started hot but pretty bad the rest of the year. Hoping he can figure something out this time around and become a more consistently good player.
  4. The good news is Gallen has been hit pretty hard on the road this year, hope the trend continues.
  5. Yeah, they have had plenty of opportunity to hit Nelson and will continue if he stays in, he stinks.
  6. Nelson is a middle of the road RHP, think the offense does pretty well today. Just depends on if Rea can be effective enough.
  7. Right, a lot of smoke and mirrors. Dubon is just a guy
  8. Facing a lefty so makes sense they wait a day but the corresponding move is probably a Singleton DFA so his comeback story likely ends tonight.
  9. He already played one game with Nashville Wednesday, 1-3 with a couple of walks.
  10. Can pretty much say the same thing when Teheran is pitching. Offense has given him 0, 4, 0, 1 runs thus far. The most runs given up by him thus far is 2 against the Reds.
  11. It gets this offense a little better, probably should start against RHP for now.
  12. Right, the victim will be impacted negatively forever physically but has publicly forgiven Bush.
  13. Medina isn't starting, it is a lefty opener.
  14. Cousins was optioned a few days ago but since he was injured he gets major league pay and service time and that option is rescinded.
  15. I think the Brewers would like a 6 man rotation but just have not had the starting pitching this season. Don't want to rely on Rea or Teheran too long but best they have right now. Rea being the first to go with his option. Not liking Rea's chances this afternoon but he for the most part at least keeps them in the game.
  16. I guess Kremer really was due for a shelling.
  17. I don't know if there is such a thing as an individual pythag but if there was then this Kremer guy would be outperforming. This guy is due to get shelled.
  18. They actually have some decent hitter vs LHP in Weimer, Contreras, Miller and now Urias. However, that still leaves over half the lineup not being very good, probably no further help internally so they will have to go externally if they want to improve.
  19. I would certainly take a Peralta extension over Woodruff, big no on Woodruff. However, if they become sellers with Burnes and Woodruff, Peralta becomes a really good trade asset and don't need to lower that trade value.
  20. I actually like lumping in Fielder with Weeks, it was a good team and they played professionally together from the start. Along with the injury, things went downhill after Fielder left.
  21. Some starters should be coming back soon so not necessary, if this was a couple of weeks ago it would have been a different story. It would be nice to have more depth but that is fairly expensive depth and I also agree it would require losing another asset in trade.
  22. Yes, there was video of him from the Rattlers taking batting practice today.
  23. They did after Voit was cut loose. 40 man is full again. A move will have to be made however to get Urias off the 60 day IL. With all of these injuries the Brewers don't have a single position player on the 40 man that is in the minors.
  24. With the way the Brewers hit LHP I wouldn't mind him getting more at bats against them. It's not like the Brewers have a great alternative right now
  25. Not really, takes the spot of RHP DH from Winker if he can hit. This is the second time I can recall the Brewers calling up somebody with a 8 year gap. When the Brewers called up Erik Almonte in 2011 he last played for the Yankees in 2003.
