But the opposite isn't true? Why is it ok for a fan to throw a fit over a single game or a single series but not ok for another fan to zoom out a bit and realize the trajectory is still ok? Can't both things be allowed?

I think the Tigers all but confirmed they are selling. They DFA'd Skubal's personal catcher yesterday. I can't imagine he stays now.

Alright everyone. We have swung and swung and swung on him all season for his decisions. Myself included. Gary saved that inning. Everyone needs to say one nice thing about him before he bats.

Next Monday's trade deadline day thread is going to be an all-timer. I thought last year's was dramatic and I think fans have higher hopes this season given the two big names available. Emotions will be high. My expectations are what they are. I'm expecting the exact same approach that Arnold has shown to have in each of his season's here. Maybe I'm wrong. It'll be high energy either way. If we don't splash somewhere people will be very emotional and if we do splash somewhere the excitement about the incoming + despair from the prospect hugging crew will be loud. I love drama for drama's sake so I'm excited to watch it all unfold.

I just can't get my head around LA letting us have Skubal. If we get Skubal, we have a chance against them. If LA gets Skubal... They are a 50/50 shot to win the whole thing. They have as much prospect capital as anyone and just like us... a looming lockout gives them all the reason to go all in for this ESPECIALLY with an aging roster. I could be wrong... But I think the best we can do here is make sure LA has to pay the heaviest price possible?

Yeah if the bottom of the order is going to continue to get on base 6+ times a game we might need those lead off RBI opportunities to go to Turang. Let's cement that change.

5 innings of 2 hit baseball and one of those hits was a little league miscue. Henderson stays. Detroit can sniff around someone else.

Oh I'm not even considering Henderson+ for Skubal. I will be hurt if we trade Henderson.

Recency bias ... but I just am not sure who we are going to trade for (barring one guy obviously) who I think will outpitch Logan Henderson the rest of the year.

It feels like this is the first time we have had an annoying "Brewers inning" in a long, long time. Long at bats. Walks. Pepper hits. Stolen bases. All with 2 outs.
