  1. If this is accurate then the above "sitting 90, touching 92" would make sense. The scoreboard was 88-90 all game.
  2. Brewers did a great job clearing the pitcher's spot in the order that inning. Will have top of the order to end it!
  3. I just left during the rain delay... The fastest pitch read I saw on the scoreboard from Woodruff was 90 all day. Nothing higher that I saw. His first two innings he was sitting 87 -89 and then the remainder of the game. He was sitting 88-90. Of course, this was just the scoreboard reporting so not sure if that is official or not.
  4. A very light rain started to fall here in the 4th and Woodruff just gave up a leadoff single, his first hit allowed. He picked him off though.
  5. I'm here. Woodruff sitting 88-89 on the scoreboard. I've seen 90 twice. Off speed 79-80.
  6. There are a lot of reasons why making a minimal upgrade any position in a season like this would be very beneficial to the Brewers both for this year and moving forward ... none of which have anything to do with making a deep playoff run.
  7. This is a great find, I forgot about Urias. He wouldn't cost much either. What is Ortiz' options look like? I wouldn't mind him getting a full August of at bats down in a Nashville to just swing through his issues and then come back for the stretch run if ready.
  8. Man, a couple more Durbin and Ortiz hits and our entire lineup will be above .200 - we are living in luxury my friends.
  9. Am I asking too much to want Bauers to get to that ball? I wonder what the catch rate will be on that one..
  10. I mean, I trust he is sick and physically cannot ... because what are we doing otherwise? I better eat crow for this..
  11. Everyone in the history of the world knew Ortiz was squaring up there. That was tough to watch.
  12. If nothing else, great job from Haase and Bauers battling back from 0-2 counts to make Sugano throw a bunch of pitches in the inning.
  13. I understand and that's why I was directing my response at the thought and not to you directly.
  14. My response is to this line of thinking in general, not to you personally.. .. but why stop there? Why not put up his entire $1 billion+ portfolio outside of the protection of the business and sign Soto and Fried? He has the assurance that even though he would be personally funding 100% of that additional cost of operation he would be getting only 40% of the additional uptick in value IF that team ascends in value (and of course, that is only if he sells his portion to liquidate that asset to get his money back). Are ticket prices to high, too?
