  1. So in your opinion if alternate ticketing sites like Ticketmaster/Stubhub/SeatGeak eat away at 10-20% of your ticket sales because fans are buying from others rather than buying from you .... the Brewers shouldn't adjust how they operate and instead just eat those losses and take the bottom line hit because fans deserve it.
  2. With all due respect, what on earth are we talking about? If parking is too much, find a cheaper alternative. If tickets are too much, find a cheaper alternative. If food is too much, find a cheaper alternative. How are we this unresourceful? When I go to games I park at Saz's and take their shuttle which costs you one drink ($5) and you get into and out of the game so much faster than the main parking lot. Eat before the game. Buy your ticket the day of from someone on Ticketmaster who can no longer go. I haven't paid more than $25 in total to attend a Brewers game in years. If you want to be sad you can't have a full game day experience of parking at the stadium, sitting in a premium seat, everyone getting a full meal, etc without paying a premium .... then fine. But if you "can't take a family of 4 to a game anymore for less than $300..." unfortunately you are just not great at playing the game. Sorry if that offends.
  3. Bauers defense has been incredible this year before that play.
  4. It is tough to be upset at him ... but there was probably double play available to Contreras on that bunt. Taylor never left the box. Could have gotten the force at 2nd first.
  5. Milner is going to have 95 appearances this year.
  6. This Jones kid is electric. Pirates fans have every right to be excited about the future staff.
  7. I was about to summon Misiorowski but then looked at his stats to start the year... what is going on with the walks? 11 through 10.1 innings? Only 6 hits and 15 k's... so no one is hitting him but his ERA is inflated.
  8. Way to show 'em!
  9. Get Boushley back from Minnesota. That game was a ton of fun. If we are throwing darts at the wall let's make it a local kid and let the fans get rowdy again.
  10. Through this first stretch of season ... the only positions the Brewers rank in the bottom half of the NL in combined WAR is 1B, DH, and our starting pitching staff.
  11. Yep and I'm not upset at that one bit. I do a modified version of this same thing .. I just allow myself to enjoy the fist pump portion of the equation for a longer spell.
  12. I'm not saying this is the same thing at all... but I remember when the Bucks won the NBA title a few years back and this guy called into a post game radio show and his comment was something like "Happy they got it done, but if they want to repeat next year they really need to get another outside shooter..." ... and that really put into perspective how much my opinion/attitude doesn't matter in conversations with others because sometimes people just will never see eye to eye on how to enjoy something, and that's ok.
  13. Ahh I understand. I misinterpreted. I'm with you!
  14. You are arguing against yourself a bit. You are saying Murphy is overusing parts of the bullpen and then saying you don't trust the other pieces at his disposal. So what would you like him to do? Leave our starters in for 120 pitches re: of outcome? Use position players?
  15. Winning the series early and getting a 'free' game is always so nice. Against a division opponent is that much nicer. With that said, broomsticks.
  16. Took him 13 games this year to have the front office move him. Hitting .553 with a 1.274 OPS to start the year. #14 prospect in our system. This seemed like a quick move ... so I was curious to compare against others who moved quick through the Trats. Boeve's 32 total games at Wisconsin (19 last year) are just behind Chourio's 31 games and Hiura's 27 games spent in Appleton. Those are the two off the top of my head recently who were only there for a minute. If he keeps swinging in Biloxi ... might not be long before he puts himself on the radar.
  17. What a joy Brice Turang has been this year.
  18. Let's go. Terribly ugly offensive effort .. but a win is a win is a win is a win. Hat tip to the bullpen for cashing this one in.
  19. This would be a wonderful win steal if we can seal it. We haven't played well, just losing 2 of 3 would be wonderful this series. Finish this up.
  20. Turang is very, very quickly becoming my favorite Brewers player.
  21. Game 17 and we are starting Bryce Wilson. Our pitching situation is what one might call "dire".
