If the Brewers were to empty the farm for Soto or Ohtani the Brewers would then have a Marlins like fire sale in the off season. I don't think Ohtani or Soto would improve the Brewers chances all that much in winning the WS.

He has one arbitration year left so 1 more season. He will be a free agent in 2024.

There is a company called Opal that is already doing the methane extraction and have contracts with waste management already and a few other companies. They are using the current natural gas infrastructure to move the fuel.

Semi’s should be the last to ever become EV’s. There are far better options right now like natural gas. For example methane natural gas burns a lot cleaner and is fairly close to a zero emissions like an EV. Plus we have an abundance of methane from dairy farms and landfills that can be used. Methane can also use the existing natural gas infrastructure to deliver the gas. Semi trucks and heavy machinery should be moving to natural gas and not EV’s.

Gott is weird and I don't think it is teams have figured him out. He just hasn't been the same since he came off the IL. A lot of his pitches are missing and when they are missing it is right down the middle of the plate. He is still striking people out but the walks and home runs have been hurting him. His breaking pitches seem to be flat since coming back from the IL.

The killing of the international draft and keeping the QO system for the next 5-years is really going to hurt the Brewers. Now when Narvaez leaves this offseason the Brewers will not get anything. At worst if the international draft went into agreement the worst the Brewers would have gotten for Narvaez would have been a 3rd round pick. Now the Brewers have to offer Narvaez a QO in order to get compensation which will not happen.

The post by sveumrules shows how the Brewers would use Bell. Basically use him as a platoon against RHP at DH and a platoon at 1B against LHP.

I just tried on desktop using dark mode it also happens there. It seems as though it loads the light version when switching categories in the forums. Using the latest Chrome version on desktop.

Both on wi-fi and 4g/5g. I just tried using wi-fi and 4g/5g it comes up using both. It seems like it is a transition between loading forums. It is not as noticeable on an Android as it is on an iPhone.

If the Cardinals wanted to make a trade for Soto I think it would look something like this: Cardinals: Soto and Corbin Nationals: Walker, Gorman, Liberatore and Yepez I believe that gets the Nationals everything they want if they want to include Corbin in the deal.

I have noticed in dark mode when viewing on an iPhone using Safari I am getting a flash of white when changing forums or topics. Sometimes it won't happen at all on going from one forum to the next but it always happens when going from one thread to the next. There will be a strong flash like my screen is taking a picture it is that bright sometimes other times it is a light grey but most of the time it is a bright white flash before the topic loads. It happens on Android also using Chrome but the flash is not as bright.

I don't think the Pirates will even consider trading Reynolds for anything less than Chourio, Frelick, Wiemer and a couple of lower level prospects. The ask for Reynolds is extremely high from the Pirates. I doubt the Brewers or any team are going to be willing to meet the Pirates demands for a Reynolds trade.

I think the Brewers are going to benefit from the collapse of the Red Sox who look like they are out of the playoff picture. The Red Sox may not sell off but I don't see them buying either. The Red Sox may just go with what they have and see if they can turn it around in August but that August schedule for the Red Sox is brutal. With Sale having surgery and being out for the rest of the year it is probably best for the Red Sox to deal their pending FA like Martinez and Eovaldi. The Red Sox are a team that would be looking at the same players the Brewers would be looking at but now I don't see the Red Sox being buyers.
