  1. I have been wondering if some of the older or frequently injured pitchers have some upside after essentially an entire year of rest in 2020
  2. How many roster spots do we have open for potential corner infielders?
  3. Just checking stats, last year he would have been the 23rd ranked 1B out of 26 qualified, offensively
  4. We can't afford Jedd Gyorko
  5. A look back on his 5 year, $105M contract extension. I didn't do any deep analysis but I was curious about it. Graph shows Braun's value relative to MLB free agency according to Fangraphs, and shows that he was a good value in 2016 but a bad value all of the other years and overall.
  6. I priced out Spectrum just for fun and it was $70/month on their website. That's a ridiculous price for Brewers games, no way I would pay that.
  7. I was going to look in to Sling TV next year. I haven't done homework on all the details but they advertise live MLB and it's $30/month.
  8. Haha he's nothing special but he's better than I was expecting. The Dodgers sent him over because he's not a high upside guy. They are all about upside and FA.
  9. I would have beat that package in a heart beat. Lowe is any every day 1B and we probably cycle 3 or more hopeless retreads during his time in TX.
  10. I was hoping he would be cheaper. I haven’t checked the potential budget recently but I think those numbers would have been a deep cut for us. I’m hoping for Cron though and I think he is realistic.
  11. I’m throwing Stearns under the bus if he’s a Narvaez replacement
  12. Wow below average war at every position besides catcher. And we might get rid of our catcher, haha.
  13. We have to be in on Santana or Cron to play 1B, right?
  14. I would think his club option is a lock
  15. I'm happy for Mills. He's a AAA quality pitcher so this will definitely be memorable for him.
  16. It’s never been tested that I know of, 1 year deals get very high AAV so in the end it could work out the same or better career earnings for good players who stay healthy
  17. 6’3” x2 and 6’0” has a little more SP potential
  18. Corey Ray? Who cares if he stinks, you can take Gamel off the list.
  19. I don’t think many people thought of Grisham as a true 1 year wonder on his way back to AAA. I wish we still had him but I kind of still feel like we need Urías more since he can move Hiura to DH or Arcia to the bench depending on how things go. Grisham wouldn’t solve our OF problems right now, mainly because we still wouldn’t have a real CF, just yet another LF/DH/poor defensive CF.
  20. At this point I feel like screw the mlb ready piece, get talent for 2022
  21. Rasmussen as SP or RP? He started a lot in milb but averaged about 3 IP so I assume RP?
  22. I think across mlb a lot of the guys who signed 1 year deals will be back with the same team. There isn't enough change that will happen this year to change values and needs to get them to new teams.
  23. Not sure he would bother to get TJ and attempt a comeback in 2022 at this point in his career so sure why not
  24. Seems a little pitcher heavy, but I guess they will probably add Urias pretty early and I don't think they will drop a position player to do it.
  25. By most reports they took a lot of highly rated guys this year. I’m not sure they were expecting to save as much as they did. Certainly Mitchell wasn’t a cost saving decision.
