2010: Capers' defense finished the season ranked 2nd in scoring defense, 5th in total defense, 2nd in interceptions, 2nd in sacks, and 1st in opposing quarterback passer rating, in spite of being decimated by injuries during the 2010 season. 2011: Capers lead a 5th ranked defensive squad and helped the Packers win the Super Bowl. During the playoff run his team had a pick 6 in the final 3 playoff games that year; Divisional Round (Williams), Championship game (Raji), and in Super Bowl 45 (Collins.) Seems like a long time ago... Thanks for the list. From what I have heard, some players think Capers' system is "antiquated." I'm not sure about that. IMHO, he doesn't have the talent. Ergo Ted Thompson is the primary reason. I don't know if anyone can say that Capers doesn't know what he is doing. He obviously has the mind but what he has done of the past few years now hasn't worked. It may be time to change to get a different thought process and message to the defensive players. And yes, it was a long time ago.
