    Today was their third day of a stretch with 19 games in 20 days, could see them going to a six man for a few trips through if everyone keeps pitching well. Believe that would get them in the neighborhood of Woodruff’s 30 days being up so could reassess then.

    Top 10 in the Brewers system. FanGraphs added him at #88 overall after spring training but I’m not sure if anyone else had him Top 100.

    Disagree that their window would still be open today with an increasingly injured Middleton and Holiday who is nowhere close to being a legit #2 option on offense. Bringing in Dame (or anyone who could help Giannis carry the load on offense) was a necessity with Middleton's body breaking down. The actual big mistake that offseason was letting Giannis hire Griffin instead of going with the front office's rumored preference for Kenny Atkinson.

    Presumably any trade involving Lillard or Giannis would bring back a bunch of first round picks / young players.

    Yeah, I normally take a trip to see the TRats every spring to check out the new kids, but that’s essentially just Burke and Baez on the position player side with Yoph gone. Will prolly still head up in May for a weekend but am going to have to hope the pitching lines up or Adamczewski is promoted by then to turn the excitement level up a notch. Late summer trip should be a little more interesting assuming more Carolina guys make their way up.

    The Brewers won that game in Colorado by 15, they lost the Skubal game by eight. Take out the biggest outlier on either side and their run differential is still +25 for the other 14 games (10 W - 4 L) this month. But ultimately the run prevention floats the boat. In the eleven games the Brewers won this month they gave up zero runs (x4), one run (x2), two runs (x4) and three runs. In the five games they lost they gave up five runs (x2), seven runs, nine runs, and eleven runs.

    Since starting 0-4 they had scored the 4th most runs per game and posted the 2nd lowest ERA in MLB before tonight. With tonight’s results rolled in they have a +32 run differential over the last 16 games.

    Top five in the Shuckers lineup have all had nice nights… Spain (single, walk) Lara (two singles, walk) Pratt (two singles) Wilken (single, two walks) Adams (single, two walks) Also gotta give a shout to Mayor of Biloxi Zavier Warren (quickly approaching 1,000 PAs with the Shuckers) for his two knock night.

    Nate Peterson still chucking for the Shuckers, now up to four scoreless frames with a lone single against eight strikeouts. 45 pitches, 35 strikes.

    That would be the lone blemish on Smith’s night with a 3.2 IP | 4 H | 0 BB | 1 K final line. Jesus Broca followed and retired four of five batters faced (1 BB | 3 K). Sam Garcia has pitched the last three frames clean with 1 H | 1 BB | 3 K.

    Garrett Stallings put up a 1-2-3 seventh and Yoho followed up with a zero in the eighth (1 H) to keep NASH up 1-0. Yoho only needed 14 pitches to get thru the eighth, maybe comeback out in the ninth for the two inning save?

    So Schultz is #10 on the BA Top 100, and Coleman Crow out-pitched him big time tonight, so Crow is the #9 prospect now ?? That’s how it works, right ?!?!?

    Myers worked a 1-2-3 fifth adding another strikeout to the ledger while Peguero put up a zero in the sixth. Meanwhile a trio of walks from Alfaro, Delgado, Clarke and a Jimmy Herron sac fly have NASH up on the board 1-0.
