  1. 8-2 record. Seems like he knows how to win games
  2. Former Brewers radio announcer, Cory Provus (2009-2011).
  3. Civale has 3.97 ERA, 11 H, 14 K, 5 BB in 11.1 IP across two starts for Milwaukee. He pitched quite well against Pittsburgh on July 11. Ryan looks like he has been stingy this year. 3.53 ERA and WHIP of 1.00. However, he got roughed up a little in his last start on July 12 allowing 5 ER and season high 3 BB over 5.1 IP in San Francisco.
  4. Both Hoskins and Bauers are -0.2 WAR. do we just hope for better things in the second half?
  5. It makes me wonder if it would become a good side hustle to start a community blog on the page with headlines like ‘What Brewers’ Leadership Doesn’t Want You to Know About Keston Hiura’
  6. Milwaukee is on pace to win 93 games and has a five game lead in the division. Plus, we have a lot of talented players scheduled to return to the team soon.
  7. Despite all their trouble, they are only three games out of the wildcard. This will be a very interesting couple weeks for Chicago as it relates to the trade deadline.
  8. Good on Kansas City for taking both games of doubleheader against Cardinals today. Cubs head to Saint Louis this weekend. Cubs have won three straight including two game sweep of Baltimore and are threatening to climb out of the cellar.
  9. Batting cleanup, second baseman, #13 Keston Hiura. (tonight’s Angels/Rangers game)
  10. I’m hopeful the Royals can go into Saint Louis and take 2 of 3. 🤷‍♂️
  11. I’m sure chemistry matters. You can’t just randomly fire a manager or leader without unintended consequences.
  12. Great job by Junis! Glad the pen can rest today.
  13. We have club option for 2025 for only $5.5 million
  14. Seems un-Brewers to take someone out of ‘their role’ due to injury. I’d expect Williams to take the ball in the ninth in his first appearance. I agree with your logic but not sure if the Brewers do, too.
  15. Just a Fansided article proposing Chafin to Cubs. New York Post also suggested Chafin could have value. ’But for the Cubs, they need Chafin in their bullpen more than ever. Something needs to kickstart them back towards the winning ways that they were in at the beginning of the season.’ https://fansided.com/posts/mlb-rumors-cubs-andrew-chafin-trade-tigers-reunion I suppose he has been above replacement level? 🤷‍♂️
  16. Frelick is also a 3B? 🤷‍♂️
  17. Four games out of final wild card spot
  18. Strange things can always happen during Brewers/Cubs series. There have been plenty of times either the Brewers or Cubs have been bad but unexpected things still happen.
  19. I didn’t follow the Cubs all too closely in 2023. To the extent managers matter, did David Ross meaningfully underperform in 2023?
