  1. Am I remembering incorrectly, or did Campbell get a last minute promotion to Biloxi because of injury last season and played well enough where he never ended up going back down to Wisconsin. Maybe history repeats itself.
  2. Wasn’t Lara ejected? Regardless, even with the return of the two pitchers today, their injured list seems to rival the Brewers’ in length.
  3. I guess you could sort of count Yujanyer Herrera because I believe he skipped the DSL and played stateside in his age 17 season, but I think he might have been a young member of the pre-COVID class who would have pitched in the DSL as a 16 year old were it not for the pandemic.
  4. Scratch Torres from my last post. It appears he earned a spot stateside after all. Also, it might be a typo, because ACL, but Ferrer is listed among the potential pitchers in the game box.
  5. Unless I am mistaken, Flores had some hype immediately after signing but struggled a bit last year. Hopefully he can keep this dominance going. There were a few pitchers who flashed, albeit inconsistently last year who didn’t get a stateside spot. Hopefully Flores, Corniel, Torres, etc., break out this year.
  6. Given his age and power profile, Adams’ K rate is fine. His swinging strike rate is similar to contact guys like Areinamo and Guilarte and just a bit behind Lara. His average is low because of an absurdly low BABIP. I don’t know how much is bad luck and how much is his fly-ball profile, but his K rate isn’t that concerning to me at this point.
  7. I think I missed the deadline, but in car … Life has kept me from following as obsessively so far this season, so I will keep it to 20 this time: 1. Jackson Chourio 2. Jeferson Quero 3. Jacob Misiorowski 4. Sal Frelick 5. Tyler Black 6. Carlos Rodriguez (P) 7. Luis Lara 8. Robert Gasser 9. Eric Brown 10. Daniel Guilarte 11. Abner Uribe 12. Hendry Mendez 13. Alexander Cornielle 14. Matthew Wood 15. Freddy Zamora 16. Alexander Vallecillo 17. Patricio Aquino 18. Gus Varland 19. Clayton Andrews 20. Luke Adams
  8. I know there was a run on QBs, but…
  9. Lots of linemen coming off the board in the fourth
  10. I wonder if given the number of picks if the Packers take a 6th or 7th round flier on one of the small school linemen like Witt or Fisher
  11. I see we have reached the Bill Belichick doesn’t have any other prospects he likes so he just starts taking random special teamers portion of the draft.
  12. As someone who values route running and body control at WR, I am fine with Reed over Hyatt, but I wish he were a bit taller. Some of the stuff on the highlight reel feels like it would translate better if he was 6-2 rather than 5-10.
  13. Didn’t really look at him too much, but like the mention of back shoulder proficiency. The Packers have had a few receivers who showed being good at that is the equivalent of knocking a tenth off your 40 time when it comes to getting by a DB
  14. Musgrove, Benton or Branch?
  15. Thought Mingo would be a good fit in GB
  16. Well, fewer bad jokes than if Vegas took who I thought they might.
  17. In round one I would agree, but the Rodgers pick shows they aren’t opposed to having one smaller slot guy on the roster, and they apparently at least had conversations about trading for Fuller, a decent comp for Hyatt. I wouldn’t be shocked in round 2, though
  18. My guess for round 2 is a tight end (let's say Musgrove) and one of Mingo and Benton
  19. I don’t know if he’ll be a superstar, but he seems to be among the most likely to end up somewhere between 10-20th best in the draft when all is said and done.
  20. If it does go Skoronski, Levis, Gonzalez, then you’ve got JSN, Jones or a pass rusher,
  21. Great deal for Arizona given that I’m not sold that won’t be another top 5 pick next year.
  22. Unless Fields takes a step forward it at least shouldn’t be tough for Stroud to be the best post-merger Ohio State quarterback
  23. After correctly calling Tom last, I will call my shot on Sydney Brown in round 3.
  24. Yadi is kind of low hanging fruit, but was it Chris Carpenter who seemed to come up with a new conspiracy theory to explain each bad outing? (And yes, La Russa would get my vote if eligible without a second thought).
  25. Man, most of the guys who I thought were going to make the Carolina rotation interesting aren’t on the roster to start the season, Still got Aquino and Herrera, though.
