  1. Glad I didn't waste $125 for mediocre seats to watch this garbage.
  2. How does a double play without a run scoring and a strikeout sound?
  3. Swarzak and Barnes were unavailable. For Hughes, your guess is as good as mine. Swarzak was throwing in the pen when Torres did.
  4. SWINGGGGGGGGGGGG and a miss for Broxton...a rare sight!
  5. LOLOLOL Torres doesn't even know who's on base
  6. Lucky for us the Twins bullpen is equally atrocious to ours.
  7. The smartest guy in the room ran to get Jeffress out after 1 batter, and then leaves Drake in for 40 pitches and the ensuing abomination. Brilliance!
  8. Uh.....40 pitches, why is this clown still out there?
  9. Unbelievable. Why does this clown still wear a Brewers jersey?
  10. I know this is just how today's athlete behaves and one could argue it just keeps them loose. I guess I'm old school and wish the players cared as much about baseball as we do. But seeing them and especially Thames at the wrestling match was so lame. He really looks silly acting like that when he has been so bad since April. So when a player is struggling they should just sit at home and mope? There's athletes and celebrities at WWE all the time, who really cares? Maybe you shouldn't be so wound up in sports sports is ones life just sports. Would you rather they be out clubbing and getting arrested or doing drugs instead of going to a harmless wrestling show?
  11. Just like those empty statements when the deadline expired of "We were in discussions with teams for position players and pitchers" blah blah blah. Placating the fans until/unless the make a deal.
  12. I find it curious that the "big wigs" in baseball keep talking about the Brewers and Verlander. Clearly at this point somewhere along the line (or even now) there must have been some fairly serious discussions had about a deal. It ain't like the Milwaukee Brewers are the team that all of MLB fandom wants to hear about constantly.
  13. I like that better than Granderson.
  14. Where's Jason Kendall when you need him?
  15. When can we make a thread on bashing Joe Buck? Talk about a stale subject...some of you are truly spoiled by the quality of announcing in Wisconsin. The only way it could get better in my opinion is if they hired Provus back with Ueck and dumped those two on the radio.
  16. He is older and only has one year left is why one would trade him. Give Woodruff the #5 spot. That is all fine and dandy if that is your thought process there, but flat out declining the option makes little sense. Calling him a #6 or #7 on a good team seems hard to believe. I bet there are some contenders RIGHT now that would take him as their #5 possibly even a #4. In the offseason at least half of baseball would be interested in Garza at $5mil. That doesn't necessarily equate to a giant bidding war, but the interest would be there to trade him quite easily IMO Woodruff shouldn't be "given" anything until he proves it. Suter also has a very limited sample and i'm skeptical due to his lack of velocity and need to be perfect. At only 5 million i'd prefer we keep the "grizzled" veteran around as a back end starter unless we're blown away by an offer.
  17. Why are we dumping Garza again? Is there some unicorn out there to fill the #5 slot in the rotation that i'm unaware of?
  18. Good lord, overreact much? You utter some whoppers but this one may have taken the cake.
  19. Is that the same Washington team that were it not for a 8 run 8th inning we probably take 2 of 3? I doubt the 15-2 would have been so lopsided in that case either. Amazes me how undersold the major league roster of this franchise can be while the minors prospects are talked up in the opposite fashion.
  20. It's always easier to spend someone else's money and make their own decisions for them, right brew?
  21. You might want to look up the word disaster. While only getting three innings is rough, he threw them scoreless. It gave us a chance. I think you underestimate how lucky we were to be in that game. It could have easily been a other 10-15 run nationals game. The only way to describe Guerra getting out of that scoreless was he had a golden horseshoe up his behind.
