  1. Could see Lockridge or Henderson on the roster. Can’t see any of the other 6
  2. I don’t think Mis can be on it.
  3. For game 3 if it’s the padres I’d go some combination of Gasser, Hall, and Quintana. So many lefties and it’d be nice to have those options to roll out. if its the Cubs I’d think it’ll be Q and Patrick.
  4. I think that this makes a lot of sense, but I just don't trust putting Mona at short in a a playoff game. I'll live with Ortiz at the plate and trust the other guys to do the job at the plate. Can always pinch hit for him in big spots.
  5. Appreciate you
  6. Can someone explain what 1, 2 or 3 up means?
  7. The NLDS schedule has games on: 10/4, 10/6, 10/8, 10/9, 10/11 So I think at this point I’d line up Gm 1 Freddy Gm 2 Priester Gm 3 Gasser/Patrick piggyback Gm 4 Freddy on regular rest Gm 5 Priester on regular rest Don’t have to be worried about the bullpen being overworked either with 3 off days in 8 days. So all the late high leverage guys and Ashby should be able to pitch in at least 4 out of 5 games. NLCS is way trickier.
  8. Supposed to be healthy by NLDS though. I think the prior assumption was we didn’t need him. Now we might.
  9. He’s not ready. He has been a bad pitcher for months now. He’s gonna be great but I’m with Ed here. I’d rather see Gasser, Patrick, or Quintana at this point.
  10. Need Gasser to pick up where he left off last year. Patrick can be a guy who goes 3-4 IP. Megill and Hall need to get healthy. A lot needs to happen, but if things fall right they have enough to replace Woody.
  11. I think they go full steam ahead. They want homefield through the world series.
  12. You might be right about hand vs. wrist. I'd be really surprised if they didn't check for breaks in the hand though before sending him back out there. Would be reckless if they didn't
  13. He got hit in the wrist not the hand. Looks like more of a bone bruise type situation to me. They would have checked for potential broken bones in between innings. Would be crazy if they didn't. I'm sure he will get x rays but he must have passed the preliminary tests.
  14. He'll be alright. Even if he's not I'm nearly certain he'll play through it
