  1. But Plush... on the other hand, think how sweet it would be to knock the dodgers out.
  2. The Coach Cooper guy is BigAlBar&Grill if you care to search it. If the legend grows much more I wonder if the original Coach IGTs might one day make Woah Solvdd forum archive.
  3. Great job pouring on the Coach Cooper references in the IGT tonight. Even some Frosty Boys talk which is always a welcome sight.
  4. I booed bonds at Miller Park when he was chasing the record. And I always used to boo Michigan and Ohio State when they’d take the field at Camp Randall. Other than that I’m not much of a booer. With that said, I endorse all machado boos.
  5. Tell me about it. Up here you’re sol if the Packers play at the same time as the seachickens.
  6. 2013 22nd round pick Johnny Davis has made it to the show in a Quintin Berry role for the Rays. Interesting story on his journey found here, I'm happy for the guy.
  7. Ahhhh that one. Thanks Plush. Clever idea by FTF, too.
  8. Maybe I'm tired or maybe I'm dense, but this particular license plate joke is lost on me.
  9. I was busy processing 2 moose legs during the game so now that that whole project is done I’m getting a kick out of reading this IGT and seeing Moose hit 2 out tonight.
  10. Agreed on Jinks. Didn’t know about the two upcoming, something else to look forward to. Turnpike Troubadours and Chris Knight are a couple others worth the listen. I listened to Sturgill’s latest, it was kind of bizarre. But I’m going to definitely give the album a chance.
  11. Maybe Stearns is trolling us and Yelich is fine. Wouldn’t that be great, Ran?
  12. Yeah he seems like he needs to just not even think about baseball for a while and kind of mentally reset. I hope he has a good off season with his family. I’m not ready to give up on the guy but I’m pretty much ready to give up on his 2019 season.
  13. If we’re going to discuss Betts announcements then take a moment to reminisce hearing Cecillllllllll Cooper. I can hear it now.
  14. Who don't you think will make the 2020 pen? I think Pomeranz is very likely to go along with Hader. If the don't re-sign Pomeranz the Claudion will be the other lefty. Suter and one of the starters will be the long men. IF Knebel comes back healthy and throwing well he's in. Jackson has been terrific since he returned and is a low cost option. Black has shown promise and they can't send him down w/o losing him. I agree Faria is a long shot, so is Burnes. D. Williams, Peralta, and Wahl. I see at least 10 better options than JJ next year, unless he regains his fastball and splitter and comes a whole lot cheaper. Well to start off with, Pomeranz, Lyles, and Albers are free agents after the season. No telling at this point if a single one of them will be back. Houser and Anderson I see as rotation, not bullpen. I could see Nelson being non-tendered if they don't think he's viable anymore, since he'll cost minimum $3.7 mil. It would make me sad but it wouldn't surprise me. Faria might not be good enough to be kept. Wahl hasn't pitched in a year, and he's got 13 MLB innings and the results in that small sample were bad. Maybe he'll come into ST and rock but I'm not counting on it. Knebel, he might take a while to get his curveball back in AAA coming of TJ you never know. He's not much use without his curve working. Like I say, there's plenty of room for JJ if the price and his arm are both right.
  15. I hated that at bat. That was about as bad as it gets.
  16. I’m just excited I don’t have to work and they’re on espn so I’ll get to see them play today.
  17. Wahl is intriguing and all but I would call him more of a long shot than a shoo in for 2020 opening day roster. But a bunch of those listed I’d also I doubt the likelihood they start 2020 in our pen. Plenty of room for JJ if the off-season treats him well and they want him back. I hope it happens.
  18. If a person buys somebody a drink or shares a hit of their smoke with them, and that person makes bad catastrophic decisions later on, that's one thing. On the other hand, in my opinion, the only reason to supply somebody with fentanyl is if you're deliberately trying to kill them.
  19. I don’t see any place or sense for Scooter on this years roster other than 2b injury insurance and even that is a real stretch. What about next year? If you can get him on a minor league deal ok great. I don’t expect that to be on the table but I suppose you never know, better players have found themselves in that scenario before. But beyond that no thanks.
  20. Yelich's walk up music. Too funny. Wow seriously they played it for his walk up? That is wonderful.
  21. Juiced baseball Eric Sogard is a good player. The ball has turned several players that were contact hitters that can hit the ball to all fields into superstars or useful players. Yeah, in 93 games this year he's got 13 HR. The other 584 games in his career he's got 11. LaStella had 10 HR in 396 career games going into this year. This year he's played in 78 games and has 16 HR. Anybody who signs them to a contract after this season is banking on Happy Fun Ball returning next year.
