  1. Haven't had any issues with the quality. Also don't have the sound on either. I have watched previous games on Facebook Live, and the announcers were really boring.
  2. Teixeira was he only free agent that was rated ahead of CC for this to happen too (not sure how they decide who should be rated higher). Still depressing to think about...
  3. Agreed. The Brewers have played a lot of tight games and haven't had a very productive offense. I'd rather have Arcia's glove on the field. Not that I'm not concerned about his bat but, I think the importance of his defense on this team is being understated a bit. Maybe they are playing tight games and haven't had a productive offense because their starting SS has an OBP of .233 and SLG of .273. This move needed to be done, even if it is for two weeks. Saladino has been the better player so far, so he deserves the bulk of the playing time at the moment.
  4. Go get Hanley Ramirez Stearns. He's a great SS option I think it's quite obvious moving Arcia is in the best interest of both the Brewers and Arcia. He needs to clear his mind and figure things out in the minors. With having Salidino, Perez, and maybe Villar capable of playing SS, I hope the Sogard is relegated riding the pine or pinch hitting in the 6th or 7th. Love the Houser call up. I believe, if everyone is healthy, this is the best bullpen options that the Brewers can field. Truly an embarrassment of riches.
  5. I'm really interested in Donte DiVincenzo. Great athlete is at worst, imo, is a 3&D player that the Bucks are looking for.
  6. Yep. 59-53 would brings this team to 90 wins. This division is no joke, so it will be tough, but I think 90 wins is more than plausible.
  7. And his reasoning for throwing it so hard was because Herrera takes forever to get in the box and it amps him up. A true Cardinal.
  8. Pretty awesome article put together by Steven Jewell at BrewCrewBall.com about Peralta's delivery. https://www.brewcrewball.com/2018/5/15/17354114/milwaukee-brewers-freddy-peralta-phenomenal-fastball
  9. Great news. Now just pray he doesn't leave the game early.
  10. With the combo of Torres being called up, Greg Bird on his way back, and Walker's struggles (he's been better recently), he may be had for free.
  11. I don't understand this move. I can only assume that the Brewers will trade for Kirk Nieuwenhuis if the is an injury to an outfielder.
  12. But according to the legitimate Twitter of Brewer World, Orf has been added to the 25 man roster
  13. Dang, my bad... Twitter got me. It is Dan Jennings.
  14. Appologize, as I couldn't get the image to post, but here's a picture from Brewers Farm's Twitter. Looks like someone else is joining Knebel in Milwaukee.
  15. Have no problem giving up Peralta/Ortiz/Erceg - Draw the line with Burnes I disagree. If they ask for Burnes, he's on the first plane to Detroit before I hang up the phone. Fulmer is Burnes' absolute ceiling. I don't know where people are getting that Burnes is this "can't miss" ace. He is not, in my opinion. I think he is very similar as a prospect to Woodruff. Would anyone here not give up Woodruff for Fulmer? Trading Burnes for Fulmer, yes no doubt. The thing is Burnes will be a piece to the trade, not the entire trade. Is it worth selling multiple future pieces for a relatively uncertain present? Is one pitcher putting this team not only into playoff contention, but title contention? At this point, it would make more sense to trade prospects for Realmuto and Starlin Castro.
  16. I'm assuming Fulmer would cost similar or probably more than what was given up for Yelich. At this point I wouldn't want to deplete the system that much. Would rather keep Hiura, Burnes, Peralta, Ortiz, Erceg, etc.
  17. .45 ERA on the road, 5.95 ERA in Colorado Springs. Burnes is about the same as well. Burnes as home: 10.22 ERA: 12.1 IP 20H 8BB 6K BAA .377 WHIP 2.27 Burnes on the road: .93 ERA: 19.1 IP 12H 2BB 28K BAA .176 WHIP .72 ***Cannot wait to get out of Colorado Springs
  18. The Brewers will be bringing back Knebel and Logan soon, so there will already be tough decisions to be made. Add in Nelson in the near future, and there will be a talented player that gets demoted/traded. Harvey, with his baggage included, is not worth taking up a roster spot at this point IMO.
  19. Agreed. I wanted Howie Kendrick (because he's weirdly one of my favorite players), but there really wasn't many options available that would make a difference. Perhaps Castro or Lowrie will be trade options.
  20. Hopefully he's a completely different pitcher than he was last year when he was one of the worst starters in baseball. Pitchers that leave the Orioles organization tend to suck a lot less. Hopefully this is another case of that.
  21. Guess we'll have to agree to disagree. But it's not that I dislike Mejia. He's a great prospect that any team would be lucky to have. I'm sure he'll turn it around, but he's been bad so far this year in AAA. I just think penalizing Nottingham for doing exactly what he's supposed to be doing isn't fair to him as a prospect. And, to me at least, his existence in the Brewers system would make giving up a ton of value for a guy like Mejia a poor investment. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't think Mejia is a "can't miss" guy. I'm not penalizing Nottingham for it. I'm just choosing to put very little stock in a small sample in an ideal environment. Same goes for Mejia. First time regularly in AAA. He can turn it around. Do we think Domingo Santana is a 0 HR, sub .600 OPS hitter? Maybe Santana isn't the guy we saw last year, but I think that he's going to get back up towards that .800 level at least, right? Give it time. Agree with this. Sample size is much too small at this point, and playing in CS is going to inflate your numbers. Look at Freddy Peralta and Burnes' numbers pitching in CS. And Garrett Cooper looked like Mike Trout in AAA last year. Not saying give up on Nottingham, but be cautiously optimistic.
  22. I would prefer this to happen, but something tells me that Suter stays up because of his long-relief capabilities.
