  1. I bought tickets to the NLDS to ensure I’d have early access to the subsequent rounds. I know if they throw Game 2 at noon on Tuesday, my face value tickets wouldn’t sell at a profit if I couldn’t go. But if there’s World Series baseball in Milwaukee, I will be there
  2. I was pleased to get NLDS tickets this morning. It was pretty slim pickings in a lot of the sections. That indicates that it was bought up by all of the SSH, so if there are a lot of opposing fans, we will know what happened. I waffled, then went ahead and bought Game 5, even though it conflicts with the UW-Iowa fb game and I'm a UW season ticket holder. In the end, the Maryland game made that decision pretty easy. Plus, when the Brewers sweep their opponent, the decision will be made for me.
  3. It would make me very happy to see Houston miss the playoffs. I believe they cheated to win, especially "La Camisa No" Altuve. Houston loses the head to head tiebreaker against, Cleveland, Detroit, and Seattle, so just gotta keep them no better than a tie for the wild card. Looks like Seattle's magic number for the division is 3. The Asterisks have six road games to end the year. Unfortunately they get the Angels and A's. Need Angels and A's to take at least two because Cleveland and Detroit play a three game series starting tomorrow. If all three of Cle, Det and Hou go 4-2, I get my wish.
  4. I agree, but this injury sure makes it easier for me to say goodbye to Woodruff at the end of the season. Thanks, Woody, but you're 33 and can't be counted on. I wish him good luck with his career, I hope some team gives him $100 million.
  5. Vaughn averages 1.5 RBI per bases loaded at bat. I’d like to take the over
  6. 5 Popups and a strikeout. Welcome back Gasser
  7. Gasser’s locks don’t flow as much as I remember
  8. Most wins cubs can have is 95. Brewers are sitting on 95. One win gets them to 96. No tiebreaker needed
  9. forget the magic number. Beating the Cardinals is good for the soul
