  1. I like our chances against the Bears. Our guys are rested, Chicago is coming off a short week and not playing the greatest either of late. Love usually plays well in situations like this and in Chicago. It's going to be a great game, I'm pumped. But the following week think they will get blown out. But hey let's see!
  2. Wow great post. Truly shows why we have been Front Office the year the past couple years.
  3. What's the Packers overall record in Denver? It seems like one of those places we never play good, going back to the Favre and Rodgers days even like Buffalo and NYG.
  4. Do any of the talking head shows talk about Parsons getting held every play? I get the whole rip move thing, but even with that it just seems a little extreme now and there should at least be a couple calls a game. This doesn't bode well for the playoffs when the refs usually "let them play" more.
  5. I guess I'm in the minority and don't like powder blue pants? It's just too much. Colored jerseys and pants matching like some of these teams City Connects have been scream highschool girls softball to me. It's sad road grays sell the worst for baseball, Nike has been trying to get rid of them for years by making the 4 jersey rule. They have always been my favorite. I like the Navy Alts, I like the modern take on the classic Milwaukee script. I just wish it fit in more with our other jerseys we currently wear.
  6. Wouldn't that be the most Brewers thing ever. We FINALLY have an amazing farm system and depth, and the MLB club is good too...and we get a long lockout after next season potentially and we lose a year of all these guys.
  7. Love seems to always play well on Thanksgiving in a small sample. And yes, the turkey leg snub is a great chip on your shoulder. Looking back that was an awesome game 2 years ago?
  8. Who was that third string guy we lost to last time we played the Giants? Jimmy cold cuts some Jersey guy right? They made lots of jokes but that guy smoked us. We always play meh on he road in NY even back to the Favre days.
  9. How does this compare to what Ohtani was accused of doing that was swept under the rug? Of course they stick it to a smaller market team and not the face of baseball worldwide. Still pretty crazy stuff like this happens, but with all the crazy betting stuff not surprising. While it's pretty old now, everyone should watch that EPSN 30 for 30 Broke about how pro athletes go broke so fast. Even though they are making millions, a couple bad investments here and there and they could resort to this kind of stuff to earn some extra cash.
  10. Never had an issue with the app this past season. Only hiccup was the autorenew at the end of the season thing a lot of people had on here but I believe that's resolved.
  11. I'm sure he can put up good numbers elsewhere. He was pretty hot for us before getting hurt this past season early on. But yeah he clearly didn't seem in the teams future when he barely played down the stretch.
  12. The clock management has been bad, really bad end of game and the halves. Like I have zero trust if it's a close game in the playoffs we'll be able to manage things good. Just wasting time, not using time outs in the right spots. Not sure if that's Love, MLF, or both but it's bad.
  13. Mine just hit last night I think I'm good.
  14. Sorry to bring this thread back up, but does anyone still have NLCS game 6 or 7 bills still on their credit cards? I do. I thought it would get removed by now. I don't have to pay them on my bill till end of next Nov but still it's annoying. Do I have to do anything on ballpark app?
  15. I'm still feelin pretty good. Can't pick a better time to get hot than now.
  16. Snell was on, he did the same to the potent Phils lineup last week. It seemed like any time we tried to take a pitch or two he would throw these perfectly placed curves or fastballs right on the corner. It felt like we were down 0-2 in the count almost every at bat. Just attacking the strike zone and leaving nothing over the plate that was hittable. Still fought and made it interesting at the end, and that double play with Sal was amazing. Still plenty of games left.
  17. Ashby has sick stuff, so much movement. He threw a curve Monday in game 2 that made the batter, umpire, and catcher even flinch and buckle...so much so it was called a ball. But sometimes it's almost too much movement and he walks patient hitters. Just hope he's on and there's a short leash. Yep I bet he just faces their lefties at the top of the order.
  18. I expected to see Mears instead of Anderson. Gasser I get because he can mop up and give you 3-5 innings if you're getting blown out...and still has the potential to be good.
  19. I like both AL teams left. That will be a good series. Good uniform matchup too.
  20. Us sweeping the Dodgers in the regular season months ago doesn't mean anything to me. We caught them twice going through rough patches not playing well...they are now. And are more healthy. And they are just a team that finds it in the post season. I still think we can beat them, it's just going to be tough. I think we've played pretty good in LA over the years, it won't be cold like Chicago. Yeli and Braun always seemed to hit well there. Yeli lives out there right so he can stay in his own house probably and be relaxed and mash. I like seeing those power rankings, I love STILL no one expects us to do anything. It's great motivation for the guys that has fueled them all year.
  21. Yeah we thought we were looking really good Wednesday night with Priester lined up to pitch, and then Freddy last night. It all sounds great on paper...but it didn't happen. Need the bats tomorrow.
  22. I think this game depends on the offense. We can't expect the pen to keep being so perfect (except for Gasser late last night) or close to perfect and need our bats to start doing what they do and get on base, steal, create havok on the basepaths, maybe get into one and put pressure on the other team. If we do that, I think we win.
  23. Oh man I hear you. Last night was brutal. Even when it started and was 0-0 I was watching with the sound off. Something about hearing those national broadcasters favor the Cubs drives me insane when we are losing and playing poorly. I had to be doing something else in the basement while watching it was too painful.
  24. Up 2-0, had both our ideal starters going in game 3 and game 4 and they beat us...just goes to show you in baseball why you play the games. Sometimes not everything works out like you want or planned. This is one of those situations. I feel like it's our duty to fill hat place up, you know those Cubs fans will be comin in hot we gotta pack that place and get the team jacked again.
