    I'd still keep him in the corners for the time being. I think eventually you can move him to CF, but why put that extra burden on him when you have multiple plus CF also on the roster.

    Chourio is 14th in the MLB in fWAR since June 1st at 2.7. That's 6-7 fWAR pace over a full season.

    Burnes has a 2.84 career playoff ERA, so yeah losing an arm like him absolutely hurts a playoff rotation. Weird comment to go after from 3 months ago

    I mean it was certainly excessive. 29 pitches and 25 were fastballs with 1 of the 4 breaking balls being one that Civale called on his pitchcom device lol

    Watching the game tonight and man I really can't help but feel how this Brewers team would have a huge advantage playing all their home games at a park with dimensions like Oakland. Huge alleys for our speed guys to get XBH and big foul territories for our corner OF who are all really CF to range deep into foul territory to make catches more corner OF wouldn't dream of. Edit: Like in all honesty, I feel like AmFam might be one of the worst parks in the league for the roster the Brewers have.

    Honestly tonight felt even a level above those 4 recent outings. He hadn't even touched 98 this entire season until tonight. Like this was so impressive.

    Rea is under team control for another season, so obviously no he shouldn’t be extended. Go take a look at what Adrian Houser has done this year. If you had your way he would have like 4 more years of guaranteed money from the Brewers.

    Hiura's had plenty of chances and has continually showed that he crushes AAA pitching and gets exposed by MLB pitching. Since 2020 he has a 28% K-rate and 137 wRC+ in AAA compared to a 39% K-rate and 84 wRC+ in the MLB and that's a 740 PA MLB sample so it's not like he only has a couple hundred PA. He offers nothing to a team outside of his bat and his bat has extreme holes that are too easy for MLB pitchers to pick apart. He should definitely just go over to Korea and Japan where there isn't as much velo and where he'd get paid more than he does in AAA.

    Hiura's a AAAA player because he has a hole in his swing that MLB pitchers can consistently expose while AAA pitchers can't. It's really that simple.

    Holub can't be scored on in AA. The only 2 runs he's allowed in now 18 AA innings are to Manfred runners.

    Just for evidence of how bleak the Biloxi lineup is today. Players over .800 OPS - 1 Players over .700 OPS - 2 Players over .650 OPS - 3 Players over .600 OPS - 4 Over half the dang lineup has an OPS below .600.

    Took 3 pitches for the bullpen to blow the lead haha. 5-4 in the 5th might as well be 50-4 with how lifeless Biloxi's offense is.

    Here's kind of a dumb/fun baseball theory question. Would the Brewers be more likely to win giving up a run here going into the 9th down 4-0 facing Fernandez or going into the 9th down 3-0 facing Helsley? Obviously if Fernandez has issues they would bring Helsley in but feels like they would honestly have a better chance winning heading into the 9th down 4-0.

    That game in May still annoys me. Mikolas was over 40 pitches in the 1st and was probably 1 batter away from being knocked out of the game and Lane windmilled at 3B leading to an out at home. Mikolas then proceeded to throw 6 innings in the game.

    I honestly don't know what Contreras is looking at behind the plate when it comes to his pitch calls. Arenado was late on every FB he swung at that inning, has been absolutely dreadful against 98+mph FB this year, and has absolutely crushed curveballs this year. Why on earth are you calling a curveball there? Yeah Megill hung it and that's on him, but I have serious question marks about his pitch calling.

    Another Hudson game with Contreras catching where he's never throwing the sweeper meanwhile last outing with Haase catching he threw 40+% sweepers.

    Biloxi is unfortunately back to their mid first half form. Time to break the CF camera so I have no interest in watching this quote on quote baseball being played in Biloxi.

    I get it's a small sample, but man has Tyler Black looked absolutely terrible in the MLB.
